[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The liquid fabric softener is wonderful. The smell is more for women I think however. There is four men in the house, and they think it smells too girly, too floral. I love it though. So, now, I sometime wash mine separate...lol...

I've been a devout user of fabric softener sheets for years and have seriously considered switching to liquid after trying the Liquid Softener from Downy. A little softener really goes a long way and leaves my clothes smelly fresh.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as I took the cap off of the bottle of Downy fabric softener the smell of my childhood came rushing back! My mother used Downy and now I do too. Not only does Downy make your laundry soft but it also leaves a long lasting, comforting scent. My daughters both love the smell that Downy fabric softener leaves on their laundry. Downy even makes their stinky soccer clothes smell great!

Love the classic scent of Downy April Fresh. It works well to refresh fabrics and add a light clean scent. Even with sensitive skin, Downy doesn’t seem to bother us and we use it in every wash. I prefer to buy the refill milk carton type container so I don’t have as much plastic waste in my trash.

The Downey i knew was back when I'm still living in my home country. I moved now to Central Europe and can't purchase this anymore. I love and miss the after smell of this fabric conditioner in which i couldn't find or to match it with, in any available fabric softeners around here.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am all about the smell: shampoo body wash soap whatever it has to smell amazing to me. I have been known to spend an hour or more in an aisle just smelling all the available products before making my selection. And the first thing I notices about this product? It smells wonderful. Clean and not too sweet. Noticible but not overpowering. For this alone I would give it 5 stars. But then I noticed that after using it my wrinkle-prone shirts and pants somehow had less wrinkles then normal even when I didn't hang them right after washing. Wow. If I could give it a 6th star I would.

I have always used snuggle for a fabric softener on my clothes and was very happy with the results, i was given downy to try for free but this review is my own opinion. When I opened the bottle the smell was so pleasant , once i used it on my clothes I noticed they were softer my clothes looked brighter and they smelled great! I was really pleased with this product and i think I would use it in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I received my Downy in the mail and started by washing some throws I put on furniture due to having dogs laying on it. I washed them and they smell so good and are soft! I washed my blankets and pillow cases too and just love how great it smells. My cats sleep in the bed too with me and I think they even enjoy the softness and smell that came from the Downy. My daughter was over and she said what smells so good??? I wondered and then I asked her to smell my comforter I had used the downy on and sure enough it was the Downy Freshness. I love it. I will never ever do a load of laundry again without using Downy. It makes me happy and the smell and softness is so wonderful!

With Downy I get exactly what I need and expect in a fabric enhancer, great gentle scent and gentle on the skin all while leaving our clothes feeling soft. An added benefit is with using this product your clothes are getting conditioned in the wash and less likely to stretch out. It is easy to use and a little bit really does go a long way. My family is satisfied with Downy’s performance.

As long as they make it, I will buy it. I am senstive and I do not have any reactions to Downy, love the fresh scent, my clothes are soft, I do not experience static cling, and I my fabrics last longer. Since a lot of my clothing needs to line dry or dry flat, this is a must. I grew up with Downy, tried other low cost products to save money and they were very watery and did nothing to soften my laundry.
