[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Mom used Downy April Fresh ever since I can remember! We had the freshest smelling clothes in the whole school maybe the whole neighborhood! I often wonder, after getting married, if Mom followed the directions or if she used as much as she wanted so that they kept the smell and then one nice summer day I found out for myself that she did! Maybe she did use a bit more but only when she had to get the fresh scent we were all so used to! She had a dryer but she still chose to hang them out in the fresh air, weather permitting, naturally, which may have helped them retain such a beautiful scent. With her washing for the 6 of us and her twin Brother, whose wife left him, with 4 little girls, she would have gone broke if she over did it, affordable or not. Mom is no longer with us but the smell of her laundry softened with Downy still lingers, after all these years,in all of our memories. When she'd buy my four Daughters clothes she'd wash them first and the girls just loved how they smelled. I think,it meant more to them, then then the outfit itself. I, too, use Downy, like my Mom, but the smell doesn't seem to linger for me the way it did when she used it, but the memories sure do.(I don't hang them outside though either) The smell of Downy, to All of us, is one we associate with Love, or as we call it Mom's Special Love! We have many beautiful memories of Mom, but not many memories of anyone else we know or have heard others speak of also carry a scent that's carried along with the memories, especially ones of your Laundry with you for 15 years now and associate it with a Special Love no one else could eve fill!. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am an avid user of products that will make my clothes look better and last longer. This is one of those! The scent is fine. I tend to like other, more manly scents (which is why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars). However, this left my clothes soft and really brought out their color. I have a lot of black pants and this kept them from fading. I wear colored shirts and the colors are as vibrant as the first time I wore them! I have always had clothes fade over time, but thanks to Downy's Fabric Conditioner, my clothes are soft and true to color! I would highly recommend this product - I just hope they come out with it in other scents!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical before using Downy Liquid Fabric Conditioner, I figured my dryer sheets were good enough. The April Frest scent alone proved me wrong. Not only did it leave my dirtiest laundry smelling like April flowers. My clothes were noticeably softer, fluffy and huggable. There’s no stiffness or leftover residue.

Sometimes I just forget to add the liquid softener, so I just don't use or purchase it. I have a hard enough time remembering using the sheets, but when I got this new Downy, I was actually excited to try it! I did three loads of laundry and put the Downy in the dispenser like I'm suppose to. I couldn't believe it, but I did find a difference in smell and softness in my clothes compared to the usual sheets. I really enjoyed the scent. I can definitely tell the difference in softness in my clothes too. No static whatsoever. I like my clothes smelling good and this is perfect. I definitely recommend this!

Downy has always been my fabric softener of choice. I just received a free sample to review but the opinions are my own. I love the smell and quality of this product. I never buy anything else. Clothes are noticeably softer. If enough water is not mixed in though it will stain clothes blue temporarily until washed again. If on dark clothes, shows up with a black light.

My husband works with a smelly chemical for his job which leaves his work clothes smelling terrible. I used to have to wash them two or three times to get the smell out, but after using Downy just once they are clean, fresh and soft... ready for him to wear the next week for work! Downy is my go to fabric softener and freshener! I was lucky enough to try this product for free, but all opinions are my own.

I have loved Downy softener for years. I even remember as a child I loved when my Mom would wash our clothes using Downy softener. It always made the clothes soft and smelled so fresh. The smell is like a fresh clean breeze as if your clothes were hung on the line to dry. I will continue using it. I recently got a sample to review for my unbiased review and i can say it still smells good as I have always remembered

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smells fantastic, left our laundry nice and soft (and fluffy). So far the smell has lasted about a week on the clothes, which I appreciate! The whole point of using this type of product is that the smell lingers on the fabric. Otherwise I'd just use dryer sheets for static prevention. I'm really satisfied with this product overall.

I have used various brands of pods, but ultimately, it has negated the need for me to buy fabric sofetner seperately. I didn't think it would make a difference. After using Downy April Fresh, I must say it does make a difference. First, the scent is fabulous. I like a fresh scent, but there is a fine line between a nice scent and overpowering. This product strikes the perfect balance. I used this on a load of color tshirts first time around. My shirts came out nice and soft and fresh. The colors looked good as well, though I can't determine if that was specifically related to this product. I can say that it didn't damage the colors in any way. I have some issues with static when I use pods. I had absolutely no static after using this product on my first load, and I haven't noticed any since either. That is probably my favorite aspect of Downy April Fresh. The product claims to reduce pilling and fuzz. I can't speak to this specifically. I did not notice any specific decrease in these issues, but being unable to substantiate this claim didn't take away from its value, in my opinion. Overall, I really like this product, and I will be purchasing it in the future.

I don't understand why you would change such a warm and comfortable sense memory. It was pleasant and it was "home". Now I find it overwhelming and not pleasant at all. Why must my fabric softener overwhelm my perfume. I don't want my fabric softener to become my perfume. The long lasting scent...really?! Please bring back the old scent and my memories of home. I only chose one star....had to....not three
