Solid product, great value.

I already have one of these and it is excellent. I decide to install another one. I allowed a day in the sun to charge, completed the install and it would not come on with the solar panel attached. I returned it to Sam's for a replacement and the replacement did the same thing. I returned for a refund. Very disappointed!

These lights are very cheaply made. Flimsy recycled plastic, lights BARELY sit on the mount and the gasket is extremely chinsy, a thin silicone ring that wouldn't hold back a drop of moisture. Worse yet, when the light detached from the thin plastic clips, remounting is impossible. The previous model was well made. Bright illumination without the frosted lense which the new model is manufactured with.

Easy to install. I'm mounting on a wood overhang so I didn't need the anchors. That meant I used a 5/32 drill to place pilot holes for mounting instead of the suggested 7.5 mm. The mounting holes for the solar panel are quite close to its column so you'll want either a long screwdriver or a bit extender for use with your drill's #2 Phillips bit. I did the latter. The pilot holes make the installation quite easy. It would be nice if a paper template was provided for the two mounting points.My last camera came with an adhesive template for that purpose.

If you’re looking for solar lights that stay on ALL night do not purchase these lights. After charging all day in direct sunlight the lights will only stay on for about 4 hours until shutting off. Make it make sense that they charge all day for 8 to 12 hours yet to only stay on for 4 hours at night. Not worth it at all. Was very disappointed.

Got it charged. Got it installed. Light works ---- but only if you climb a ladder and flip the switch to "ON" where it stays on until the battery discharges. AUTO setting provides nothing but TOTAL DARKNESS. Sensor or something doesn't work. Waste of money and labor.

worked as expected until winter came. Something about the cold weather caused it to turn on and stay on until the charge is gone. Obviously, that drains them quickly. Now that it's warming up, they work correctly sometimes and stay on sometimes. I've had less than a year and they have not been reliable and I can't be in a situation where I have to drag out a ladder to reset them constantly. I would love these (I bought 2) if they were reliable, but they are not.

It's a simple design that appears to be pretty easy to install, however, I chose not to install it because it seemed pretty weak. Not awful, but compared to a GE 2500 lumens solar flood light that I bought from Walmart last year, it pales in comparison in light output and it's only 500 lumens less, plus it's a bit of a warmer light (more dull I should say)! Obviously that 500 lumens makes is a larger jump in light output than I thought and makes a huge difference. The GE light was over twice the price, but as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. I guess I'll have to suck it up and spend the money because I need more light on my driveway at the garage than this Westinghouse will supply. Probably fine for a smaller area that you might just want to illuminate so you won't trip over things in the yard, etc at night. On the plus side, being able to light up an area where you don't have electrical service is a big plus. Just don't expect the battery to supply it with enough power to keep it on for extended periods of time. These solar lights are only made for short bursts of light for intruders or just walking through an area so you can see where you're going, etc.

Purchased on March 19 2026 delivered on March 22 2026. Today April 9 2026 they have stopped working !!!!!!!!!!!! I have bought solar lights but not motion detection lights and the ones for flower beds and driveways have lasted for years not a month ! Sick !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Put this up on the back porch. Light works great and seems to have stayed charged for a significant time frame. Got it hung up and plugged in where it would shine on the back porch. The motion sensor works great. Haven't noticed any issues in bad weather conditions but it seems to be a hardy product and hasn't broken after being hung for a while.
