I would give these tires 0 stars...

I bought these tires 2 years ago and got about 24,000 miles on them. Just went for a tire rotation and I was told that these tires are down to a 3 and 2 tread rating and I need to replace them. Very disappointed in Michelin for making a tire that doesn't last anywhere close to it's warranty.

Terrible tire wear

New tires on our Lexus 450H. Only 41,000 miles and the dearler says we need new tires before winter. I would expect these to have decent wear at 60-70,000 mile# before replacement. Very disappointed. The ride, braking, and driving in the rain is good. Just poor wear.

More...Michelin Premier LTX tires worn out at 20,600 mi

We are truly shocked about the tread wear on our Michelin Premier LTX 235/65R/18 tires on our 2017GMC Acadia. Our car servicing report from a few months back indicated we were at 4/32” tread depth. The tires have 20,600 miles on them and it's been suggested we replace them! I have spent hours reading negative reviews about hundreds of people with this same issue. We bought the car used with 14,000 miles so I am sure Michelin will eliminate us from any sort of credit for new tires. We have enjoyed Michelin tires many times prior but not this time. The problem is with these prematurely worn out Michelin tires at 20,600 miles – not with the fact that we purchased a 2017 Acadia! Help?

Worn out 32,000 miles

Original equipment on 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Rotated at every oil change and alignment at 15,000. Gives a good ride (mostly highway). But come on-- totally worn out now. I am a conservative driver, never abused and no off road use. My tire dealer doesn't recommend these either - numerous complaints from customers about the same problem.

LEAD AUTOMATION BUILDER/ TECH

2019 Buick Envision with OEM Michelin Premier LTX of the lot. Under 23,000 highway miles, dealer service records show tread depth a 2 to 4/32". Need replacements already. These did not last. Dealer says to replace, they should be --at vendor cost!!

Does not live up to the Michelin brand reputation.

I've only driven this set of tires for 20K highway miles and the tread is already down to 4/32. While wet and dry traction, stopping and noise level is very good, the treads and the materials are definitely not what I expected from Michelin. I have trusted Michelin tires in the past but now I'm not so sure. Perhaps cost cutting affecting quality?

60k tires didnt last

Michelin Premier LTX tires came on my 2020 Toyota Highlander when I purchased the vehicle brand new in Feb 2020. I was happy when I saw the vehicle came with Michelin tires....I am very careful with maintenance and rotating balancing and alignment on my tires. It is now Sept 2022 and 26,000 miles later. I need to purchase new set of tires already.... Tire wear is even on all 4 tires. Always thought Michelins to be a better tire. After a little research, I am wondering if the problem is with the Premier LTX... I have purchased another set of Michelin. This time I am trying the cross climate and hoping to have a better experience....It definately was an expensive purchase...But I am willing to give Michelin one last try. Hope I dont regret it.....

Good for the first two years

These are the tires that came with my new 2019 Chevy Blazer and already had to get them replaced. Quite disappointed in the longevity of these tires since I barely drove last year due to the pandemic. I'm hoping my next set of Michelins Defenders last longer than this version.

poor tread ware

The michelin LTX came on my new 2017 gmc acadia. It is my wifes car, and currently has 30600 miles. Maintenance has been on time and verified by dealer records. tread-ware is now 4/32 on inside, middle and outside of all tires. This is well below the Michelin standard and reputation. I cannot recommend this tire, and only hope Michelin stands behind it's warranty

Fabulous tire.

Great in the snow, quite and smooth on dry pavement, and feels like you can climb a wall. Far superiour to the OEM tires on a Pacifica. Only issue is that it will last about 30k before it no longer works in the snow and rain. It has a 60K guarantee but seems to be no way to find out how to file a claim. The TireRegistration.com site is down so no way to register it.
