I love Diet Dr. Pepper. I buy the 6pk of 20 ounces sodas. In the last two months every six pk has had a bottle that was without carbonation or flat or leaking. This adds up to a decent amount of money wasted on a product that isn't cheap to begin with. Do better.

I have been dealing with the same situation for a year now. At first it was with the small 8-oz bottles and I would open one and it would smell a mold or mildew type smell like old laundry you forgot to take out of the washing machine. Now, it's with the 16.9 oz bottles. I went through two six packs and every bottle I cracked open smelled just like that A nauseating gag smell. I'm not about to drink those. As I would come across one I pour it out toss the bottle. I saved a few of the bottles and I'm going to be calling yet again. My problem with Dr pepper and their customer service is that the only thing they can do is send you out a coupon for a free 12-pack can Dr pepper of your choosing. I don't drink cans and they assured me that there would be no problem for Walmart to do a exchange instead of getting the cans just go get the 16.9 oz bottles which cost a dollar and a half less and Walmart called every member of management and nobody would accept it for anything other than a 12-pack of cans I don't drink anything out of a can. So, I left with my four 12-pack of cans and just took them to the food bank. I wasn't going to be able to use them so I gave them to somebody that could. Hopefully somebody got to enjoy them because I'm still out of like $16 and I'm on disability and $16 is a lot of money. So, I'm going to be calling back today after going through four six packs and finding multiple disgusting smelling gag me sodas and I don't even know why because all I'm going to do is get some coupon that I won't be able to use. I'll just be donating everything to somebody else. At this point if they cannot refund me the money not counting the other two times that I've called for the same problem but this time if I do not get a resolution that is acceptable I'm going to start saving every bottle and I won't be pouring them out because there has to be something that is in this that is toxic that it should not be consumed. I have never had to sniff to see if I could drink a soda that I've been drinking since I was a child except back then it was just regular Dr pepper. At this point, they're not good for me anyway so I'm probably going to switch over to tea and clear sodas such as diet 7 up because I'm tired of throwing away my hard-earned money. I don't call every single time I get a couple better mild dude but today when I sat and poured one after another after another down the drain was the last straw. They need to come up with less excuses and somebody that has a way to test the bottles when they come up like that for them can see if there's some type of chemical reaction going on in the bottle because this could be something like I said toxic. Number one I'm allergic to mold I wasn't about to take a sip out of that number one the smell made me almost vomit. I've smelt mildew towels that didn't smell this bad. I've gotten every excuse as in well sometimes when they're on the trucks maybe they get under pressure and a little bit of condensation gets into the cap and yeah okay if it does that's still not my problem it's mildew it's mold it's something and it's something that if it makes you want to throw up is not fit for human consumption. It went down the garbage disposal. I didn't even want the bottles in my apartment The trash was about to run so I took and tossed them out. I had to scour my hands because my hands smelled like it where I would crack it open. It's so disappointing to give up something you love so much but at this point I'm losing money and now I'm going to have to go to the grocery store to get something else to drink.#angryinalabama

My wife and I have been avid Diet Dr Pepper consumers for over 45 years. It has been a very good beverage. However, more and more lately, (past year) we have time and time again purchased Diet Dr Pepper that has been ill fated with the flavor. Some so bad we have had to throw it out. I am sure this is a quality control issue, and we can only hope that when the bad mixtures are produced, that they Do Not reach the public. Ugh. We now find ourselves “Hoping” it’s a good batch when we purchase. also, please make the Expiration Dates plainly visible on the 24 packs. This too has been an issue. We love the flavor of this drink and can only hope that in the future you will pay special attention to the correct flavor as it leaves your facility, and legible expiration dates on packaging. Thank you.

Diet Dr. Pepper was my favorite soda. Not anymore! It tastes like the sweetener was omitted. I thought maybe I had a bad 12 pack, but several 12packs later, it tastes the same, BAD! No more Pepper for me! The worst part is I have 3 12 packs that I need to finish 😞

I am a 56 yr. old die hard, all my life Pepsi drinker..But for some reason one day about 4 months ago I tried a Diet Dr Pepper. Now 4 months later I am a die hard Diet Dr. Pepper drinker. When I'm out and looking for a soda I have noticed I'm not grabbing for a Pepsi anymore I will grab a DDP everytime. Plus on a side note when I drink the DDP i don't get a sweet craving like I use to. I just wish Sam's would carry it in the 16.9 oz bottles like they do the regular DrP.

DIet Dr. Pepper..Best tasting soft drink ever, but highly addictive ! Once you start drinking then you can't stop, you have to have them. After they destroy your teeth and your kidneys you want to stop, but you can't. You go to great lengths to find your next "fix". They should be outlawed !!

I was a skeptic at first about Diet anything. Growing up if I wanted a soda, my grandma only had Diet Cokes. Let me tell you, yuck. Since then I have sworn off trying or drinking Diet sodas. I’ve even tried to drink Diet Coke when offered, still no. But boyyy I tell you what. Diet Dr Pepper, tastes the same as non-diet. Love love love it. Will be my go to soda from now on. I wish it was offered everywhere!

I always felt regular Dr. Pepper had a really strong medicinal (?) sort of aftertaste BUT not with this version. It is like a lite version. + Hint of Dr. Pepper aftertaste + Doesn't taste sugary + No calories! + Decorative can (Jurassic Park promotion?)

Dr. Pepper in general is my favorite! However, since I switched over to diet sodas in the last few years I must say Dr. Pepper Diet is my favorite and daily go to! There's just something about the flavor of Dr. Pepper compared to other flavors… highly recommend if you're a diet soda drinker like myself.

I don't drink soda often, maybe 1 or 2 times a year, but when I do,if it's available, I always get diet Dr. Pepper. I don't know what flavor it is or supposed to be, but it is delicious. There is not any other soda that tastes like it. The diet tastes exactly like the regular Dr Pepper. It doesn't have any funny after taste of chemicals, it's smooth and pleasant. If you drink soda, I definitely recommend trying it. It's perfect over ice.
