I'm like everybody else and despise the current cost of bread. But if I want good bread instead of generic (which I don't trust), I always choose Nickles. It's always fresh and last us a good long while because we also store it in the fridge. There's just 2 of us in the house and we don't eat sandwiches much. It also seems like the slices are a more decent size than the store brand.

I really like Nickles bread it has the taste of real bread taste not alit of air holes as some breads making it hard to make sandwiches or grilled cheese

This bread is a staple in our household. Grampa always has a loaf on the table with dinner and will eat 4-5 slices in one sitting. It makes great sandwiches hot or cold.

Purchased 2 loaves on 12/04/2025 @ $1.398 each and when making a sandwich the bread tore apart. Tried toasting it and butter with PB n Jelly, it dried the bread out even more and made matters worse. The BBD was a lil over a week away. Not recommended

Great for sandwiches. French toast. other food items together. priced well right amount in loaf. doesn't go bad fast like others

The lower crust on one of the two loaves was hard and turning brown. I really am not sure what this is.

Why expensive bread substitute?? There was great value.

bottom of loaf was too stale and hard to eat.

Great for fish and egg sandwiches; very short, very cheap buck bread. It doesn’t grow stale quickly.

I have eaten Nickles' bread for over 20 years. It is a very good quality bread; soft and delicious. The slices are a nice size for sandwiches or French toast.
