Great milk, poor seal due to nozzle trimming issue

If I could post photos, I would show how the underside of the removable aluminum seal in burnt brown due to over heating of the food grade adhesive used to seal the container. The issue I have with this is that it still fails to seal the container. I have milk all over my car in the trunk because the milk tipped over during transport. The injection blow molded container seams to improperly seal with the removable aluminum seal. The cap was stuck on tight, but that didn't prevent the leakages. To the manufacturer of the injection molding system (specifically the trim die for the nozzle): You NEED a clean cut in the HDPE nozzle to create a good seal. The seal and cap need a continuous flat surface to seal against!!!! Either the die/cutter is dull or the trimming process needs to be redesigned to enable clean cutting/trimming of the threaded nozzle. Please, fix this. If other manufacturers can get it right, I know you can too. Get your act together.

Hey Tim, thank you for sharing your feedback and ideas for solutions. We apologize for this situation. There was a supply shortage where we had to switch plastics. We are now able to revert back to the ideal plastic which should arrive in clubs next week. For additional help, please reach out at (888) 301-0332.

Very lousy lid!!

I’m 76 and have arthritis in my hands so trying to OPEN this ridiculous lid is a joke!! I just end up knocking my knuckles on the raised handle!! Please, designers, go back to your drawing boards. The MILK inside is fine, however. Anyway— is this lid supposed to keep children OUT?? Milk is ONE thing that I wanted my kids to get INTO!!!!

Too many jug haters....Great milk!!

The new jug design was a shock, but it takes up less space in the fridge. Some older reviews mention it being hard to open. It's just fine. Under the lid, I believe the designer has since added a flap with which you can easily pull off the seal. I've never had a problem. The milk tastes good and has a long expiration date. It costs less than the grocery store, too!

Spoiled Milk

I had the same problem a few times in a row so decided to write a review. Milk spoils at least 3 days before the best by date on the jug. Went to use some last night to cook dinner and it poured out in big chunks. This has happened multiple times lately and I'm not sure what the issue is with the milk at Sam's club.

Good price but....

Can someone enlighten me as to how to open these things? I couldn't pull the seal off by hand, so I used a pair of pliers and ripped the tab off in the process. The only way to open these bottles is to pry them open with a knife risking cutting yourself and having fragments of the tab fall into the milk. Why do they make these so hard to get into? Don't tell me for safety, because gagging on pieces of the "safety tab" is just as bad.

Milk was open

This milk has a protective seal in which i did not realize it was broken. Upon putting my milk away, i noticed that the top was slightly opened. Upon further review, i did notice that the seal underneath the top was opened. Sams club refused to take care of this issue via chat and wanted me to take the milk into the club for a refund. During this time, these stores are super busy. I took a loss and wont be buying milk here anymore.

Sam's and Walmart milk should be the same price

Why does Sam's Club charge $3.25 whole, $2.88 2%, and $2.67 for 1% milk when Walmart chargers $2.67 for all 3 versions? Jug is sturdy and nice but price variation makes no sense.
