Now, I'm really glad I made this kind of investment on my personal health. I work in the medical field and I know all about taking care of your back, and what happens when you don't.

I originally bought a Sealy Posturepedic - but quickly returned it and upgraded to the Temper-Pro Adapt, Medium Hybrid. That was the best thing I've done in a long time! This is an amazing bed - and I recommend it to everyone who asks... A+++ Superior quality and craftsmanship - hands down the best bed on the market.

I recently had the opportunity to receive a TempurPedic Pro-Adapt (soft) bed, and the timing was PERFECT! I am a very light sleeper, but the husband is not - and he's always fidgety, snoring, talking in his sleep, and waking me up multiple times a night. Add to that insomnia, and it's rare that I get a full night of restorative sleep! My husband also has back issues, and it's not uncommon for him to move to the FLOOR in the middle of the night! Our bed arrived while I was in the middle of my first mural project - I was exhausted but sleeping very poorly. After the first two nights, my husband actually accused ME of snoring! The difference for us is that I don't feel every single movement my husband makes, and therefore wake much less often. And while I still struggle with middle-of-the-night insomnia, the sleep I do get is deeper and with more vivid dreams. I was really re-energized after a few nights with this bed, and completed my mural ahead of schedule! My husband has also not needed to move to the floor at night - this mattress is firm enough for him, but still soft enough for me! One of my favorite things about this mattress is the Smartclimate cooling cover. Hot flashes are a real struggle, especially at night! I still get warm at night, but I don't wake up drenched in sweat like before! Huge win. I would definitely recommend this bed for anyone who is a light sleeper and/or dealing with nighttime hot flashes. We love it!

When I tell you I have switched rooms this new quality of sleep is amazing. It's like sleeping on a body contouring marshmallow. It keeps you cool through the night which is rare. I'm use to pillow tops and was very surprised by the comfort .Everyone in my home be wanting to keep the bed to themselves.

Over the years (as I am 64) my back has degenerated to the point a regular mattress is NOT comfortable. A year ago I had spinal fusion and a spacer inserted in my lower back. Unfortunately, Scoliosis runs in my family and our daughter was born with it. The TempurPedic has been a great product for our family. I am so grateful this product is available to us through our Military Exchange. We are forever grateful TempurPedic supports the military. I'm heavy. My previous Tempurpedic medium mattress would sag at contact points after a few nights, aggravating my degenerative spin and causing numbness and pain and impaired mobility. After a couple of weeks on this mattress no pain no numbness. The firmness took a couple of nights to adapt to, but even my 100 lb wife found good sleep after a couple of nights.

I had a first generation temper-pedic and thought it was time to get a new bed (was I ever wrong). It was quite costly when they first came out but I got one. Anyway I bought a Serta and it was way to soft for me, hurt my back. Sent it back and got a hybrid temper-pedic, and "it" is a little to soft for me, however it would be to costly to trade this one in and get a firmer tempur. So although it's an improvement to the serta, that isn't saying much.

The Hybrid Pro Adapt has made sleeping more pleasant (even the dog loves it). The adjustments on the split version keeps everyone in a position they prefer. Who knew I could sleep in so many positions with comfort. The only thing we do not like ...... that we didn't have it 20 years ago !!!
