The mattress is comfortably soft but firm. The only reason I rated it as less than 5 stars is that it was almost impossible for us to find and copy the serial number so register we could register it. I am 78 years old and had to lift three different corners of the mattress to find the correct label while my wife stuck her head under the mattress and wrote it down. This was very stressful both physically and mentally.

I've had some awesome night sleeps in this bed no more pins and needles feeling when sleeping on my side anymore. Also even just as comfortable sleeping on my back and the best part I keep cool throughout the night no more waking up in sweaty sheets. Thanks Tempur-pedic!

I believe that owning a Tempur-Pedic mattress and pillow that is the right one for you is the key to achieving a restful night sleep and pain free. I no longer have to go for a biweekly massage that, oftentimes, only causes more neck and back pain. What is so wonderful about my Tempur-ProAdapt mattress is that it contours to the shape of my body. There are times when I do not lay my head on my Tempur-Pedic pillows, and that is absolutely fine too if you ask me. So far, I own two mattress from Tempur-Pedic and I know without a shadow of a doubt that it is going to last me more than 20 years. With care, weekly laundry-washing, and the soft touch of Tempur-Pedic bedsheets and pillow covers, I know for a fact that IT IS GOING TO TAKE CARE OF ME! We needed another bed but we only wanted one like the original one we purchased years ago. The Tempur-ProAdapt has met that standard! And we love it! Expensive but worth every penny!

However, after recently being in an auto accident, I was miserable at night. I would toss and turn and was in extreme pain. I decided it was time for the Tempu-Pedic, regardless of the cost. It has been the best decision I have made and regret not doing it sooner. I sleep incredibly better and it helps greatly reduce my pain. I absolutely love my new bed. Only downside: I never want to get out of it.

I am quite familiar with Tempur-Pedic-, I use to own a king size, and when I down sized to a queen, It was with mixed feelings to spend so much money on a mattress, well, after sleeping on my mattress I now realize how I would pay double just to have the same sleep I used to get, this mattress out performs my old mattress and the new tea to keep it cooler really is a God send.

Originally ordered the Cloud online and then cancelled and upgraded to the Adapt pro med-hybrid. We also got a smart base. It took forever for one order to get cancelled and updated. Further more, we never received our $300 special package(protector, sheets, pillows). With the money we spend on these products, a 3-5 day window for email correspondence is absolutely absurd.

The ease 2.0 base is remarkably stable and easy to set up and use. Tip: If getting the base, make sure you get the in home set up or have multiple people to help because it's extremely heavy.

My husband and I had a popular brand 5 year old "hybrid" mattress. I began to wake up every morning with sore achy hips and back. I decided that the mattress was too firm for me. We went mattress shopping at a local furniture store. I had no intention of even looking at ANY foam mattresses. I had always heard that they were over-rated and slept "hot." The sales lady strongly suggested that I lay on a Tempur-pedic just to try it. I told her i wasn't interested, and proceeded to try out other brands, but didn't find one that I just loved, or that was soft enough for me. I finally tried out the Tempur-pedic Pro Adapt Soft and was shocked at how much i liked it! It didn't take long to decide to purchase it. Fast forward 2 months...this is by far the most comfortable mattress we have ever had!! No more aches and pains in the morning, and no it does not sleep "hot." We are 100% happy with our purchase!!

Even though it was little expensive but the fact that we spend around 30-50% of our overall time in bed, it's worth it. It's very comfortable and relaxing to sleep on these and I love it.
