I waited to post this review to give this mattress a good test. We have had it 4 months now and it sleeps great. It's amazing how much more rested my wife and I are each morning after sleeping on our TEMPUR-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid Mattress as compared to our traditional spring mattress. My wide wears a Fitbit to bed and often gets sleep scores in the upper 80s to 90 with this mattress. We added a thin mattress protector so we could fully feel the comfort and coolness of the Tempur foam layer. It's not hot like some foam beds. Free delivery and free hauling away of the old mattress were added bonuses.

Had a Tempur for years and recently replaced it - the new "firm" model is very hard and the tested "medium" is very squishy. Neither seem to be the middle of the road that the older models were and we are having difficulty getting used to the firmness of the mattresses we bought. Older now and perhaps have more joint aches and pains but we seldomly wake up refreshed but rather with exaggerated aches and pains. Would try the "medium" but not sure that would be better and don't want to be stuck with that should it not work better and we want to switch back again. The trial period is almost up and we are 'conflicted as to what to do with this very expensive and not so comfortable bed system. Also got a set of the most expensive sheets that were never opened and decided we do not need but the store refuses to take them as a return or exchange so we are stuck with nearly $400 in useless product!!! A decent product but one that requires very very careful evaluation before spending the money they demand. In our case we are not much pleased with the purchase and get poor responses from the retailer.

I was waking three to four times in a seven hour period with my previous mattress for years. I have had my mattress for about a month now. I wake 0-1 times a night now. But I do think that the bed base has a lot to do with it also. You really need them both to get the effect that you need.

I'm heavy. My previous Tempurpedic medium mattress would sag at contact points after a few nights, aggravating my degenerative spin and causing numbness and pain and impaired mobility. After a couple of weeks on this mattress no pain no numbness. The firmness took a couple of nights to adapt to, but even my 100 lb wife found good sleep after a couple of nights.

A year ago, we were sleeping on an all foam Ghost Bed and I had lower back pain every morning. We went to a mattress store and did their assessment and ended up with a Sealy Posturepedic Medium Hybrid with an adjustable base. That alleviated almost all of my lower back pain, but I still slept with a pillow under my knees most nights. We have been sleeping on the Pro-Adapt for 3 weeks now and my lower back pain is gone, it seems my support needs are finally being met. My husband didn't experience the same issues as I, but he did comment this is the most comfortable mattress we have slept on yet. I would now pay for the level of quality Tempur-Pedic provides, I'm a convert! For those on the fence, consider this. If a mattress lasts for 7-10 years, your daily cost for amazing sleep is less than a cup of coffee. Would that be worth it to you?

We looked for a new mattress to replace our really old one. We couldn't decide which one to get. One year later we finally decided to give the tempur-pedic a try. OMG! No more aching backs in the morning! We are sleeping like babies....we love this bed!

I absolutely love it. I've had insomnia for the past six months, only able to sleep 1 - 2 hours at a time. Then we got the Tempurpedic Pro Adapt Firm mattress and now I fall asleep and sleep until my alarm goes off the next morning! I definitely recommend this mattress to whoever has problems sleeping! It was worth every penny spend!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my first tempurpedic in 1997 after i lost my house in a flood. Had it until my divorce in 2015, she kept the mattress somehow. Did not get restful sleep until I GOT MY NEW MATTRESS and have been sleeping soundly ever since. My new one is better than my old one. Coupled with the adjustable base and I don't snore as bad, no sore throat when i wake up. If you want a good nights sleep this is it. I don't even get up to go to the bathroom 3 times a night anymore. I suspect discomfort was waking me, vacating my bladder allowed my joints to get back in alignment so I could go back to sleep every night. Now if I wake up I really do have to go. We were happy with the tempur pedic mattress we purchased twenty years ago. We wanted a quality product again; we are enjoying the comfort and supported provided by our new tempur pedic. Unfortunately, the removable cover is slippery and causes our mattress pad to slide and bunch up during the night.

I first purchased a king Cloud Bed in box mattress and literally couldn't sleep for 2 months. I had extreme hip, back and neck pain on my right side and was waking up at 3am every night. I finally upgraded to the Pro Adapt Soft and since then, I've had the best sleep of my life! I know the high end mattresses are expensive but if you're in the market for a foam bed, find the room to upgrade. Pro Adapt is a game changer!
