This is our second temper-pedic mattress. The first mattress we purchased several years ago is now used in our guest bedroom. For some unknown reason, we (wife and I) convinced our self to replace the master bed mattress with a competitors product (air mattress). We had purchased extra bed sheets and even though we never open the package the dealer would not give a reimbursement after 90 days. This was 3-years ago. Big mistake! We had enough sleepless nights and decided to revisit a temper-pedic dealer. Don't we swayed so take my advise and stick with what you know and trust. My husband and I went to the mattress store and spent a long time testing out each mattress. The one we chose was not Tempur-pedic. We both have physical disabilities and each night we would toss and turn. In the morning, I would wake up with shoulder, leg and hip pain. The salesman did tell us that Tempur-pedic was the best mattress for that, but we did not listen. After a month of not sleeping through an entire night, we went back to the store an exchanged the mattress for a Tempur-pedic. We finally were able to sleep comfortably and through the night and wake uo without being in pain.

This is my first time owning such a firm bed, but I went with it based on my conversation with the local mattress specialist. After a one week adjustment period, my sleep quality has definitely improved from my previous mattress. The quality feels excellent, and the movement isolation is unreal; movements by another person are practically unfelt.

This is my second Tempur-Pedic. The mattress delivered is completely unlike the version I tested in a Tempur-Pedic showroom. It is as hard as a rock. My backache this morning is painful. My online sales receipt says "ProAdapt" but does not specify ProAdapt or ProAdapt 1.0 or Pro Adapt 2.0. Yes, I was confused when the warranty drop down gave those 3 choices. The tag on my mattress says 2.0. How was I to know there is more than one version? I am told by customer service I probably tried an older version. 2.0 is currently being shipped. Nothing can be done until the 30 night trial is over. So, I am supposed to be sleep deprived for 30 nights, on this brick that was delivered to my house? I am not interested in letting the mattress confirm to my body or breaking it in. Thank you, Tempur-Pedic for the worst night's' I can remember. Fortunately, I kept my old mattress to give to a women's shelter. Unfortunately, they will not be getting it because the old mattress from 2006 is by far better than this misrepresentation.

Three months ago I purchased a Tempur-pedic adjustable bed and a very soft non-Tempur-pedic mattress (I always liked soft mattresses, and I'm a stomach sleeper). Perhaps it was the fact that I'm no longer young, perhaps the mattress in question was too soft, I don't know, what I know is that I had a terrible time sleeping in it. My back ached terribly. After 3 weeks I went back to the store to exchange it for a Tempur-pedic. After trying the medium and the firm, I decided to try the latter. It's been 2 months since I've been sleeping in it, and I can say it was one of the best choices I've made in my life. It took a couple of weeks for me to break-in the mattress, but once this beauty and I got to understand each other, our relationship has been wonderful. I haven't felt lumbar pain ever since, and the best of all is that I CONTINUE TO SLEEP ON MY STOMACH! It's a miracle, really.

This literally was our Fourth try at a new mattress in less than a year. We first tried what we were replacing. Traditional high end Stearns & Foster. After 4-6 weeks on all 3 different models we both felt as though we were sleeping in a gully. One of us is a back sleeper & the other a side sleeper. We both move VERY LITTLE through the night. So we gave up & at our sons suggestion, bought our Tempurpedic. We absolutely love it. We both are sleeping so well now.

I was waking three to four times in a seven hour period with my previous mattress for years. I have had my mattress for about a month now. I wake 0-1 times a night now. But I do think that the bed base has a lot to do with it also. You really need them both to get the effect that you need.

Just purchased our second Tempur-Pedic mattress. Yep wore out the first. This is definitely newer technology and the hybrid sleeps so much better. Offers more support for my husband who is a larger person. Thoroughly pleased with the service we have received.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Tempurpedic bed for about 10 years now before I bought this. I had twin XLs before but wanted a full King size. The old mattresses are still in decent shape for their age. This one appears to be made even better so I imagine that with care it will last even longer.

I have only been sleeping on the mattress for about a month, but I am sleeping better, longer, and with less pain. Last mattress was a 15 year old pillow top, that could explain it, but I feel going to a firm mattress was a great choice for me. I am now 60, and proper support is needed. Pain in neck, back, knees, and hips has greatly decreased. My wife says I sleep with less snoring and less movement than before. I get out of bed feeling much more refreshed and energetic. One drawback is the price, everything is expensive these days, but wow! Only time will tell, but if I feel better over time, it will be worth every penny. I hope this review will help others with their decision. For me, so far, it has been a sound choice.
