This mattress was a replacement for a warranty issue that we had with our previous Pro-Adapt. The very first night we slept on this mattress, we noted how "hot" the mattress was. We never had an issue with the temperature, with our previous mattress. In fact, the bedding on the mattress was exactly the same bedding that we used with the new mattress. Since that first night, we have had numerous issues with the temperature of the mattress. Either my wife or myself have been kicking the "lighter" bedding off of us during the night, in order to sleep. I reached out to one of your customer care agents to discuss the issue we were having, and that agent forwarded our complaints to someone other than herself. We received an e-mail a few days later, stating that the mattress was a warranty replacement and that we were "stuck" with the mattress. "There is nothing that Tempurpedic will do at this time"! We paid an additional amount of money for the mattress that the warranty did not cover and at this point, I am greatly considering replacing the mattress with another product. This is not our first Tempuric Mattress that we owned and at this point in time it might be my last. You are not standing behind your product and I am sure that this review posted on Social Media will surely sway others from purchasing a mattress from your company. I have slept on a mattress for about six years that I have completely hated. So when choosing this mattress I wanted to be careful. It is always hard in a show room to know if a mattress will be comfortable all night, every night. I am still trying to figure correct adjustments and that could be why. I do like that we have the option to trade if we are not satisfied. We chose the medium because I was having problems with our last mattress causing pain because it was too firm. Maybe we will end up trding to the soft.

I'm a light (110 lbs) side sleeper with mild lower back pain. Initially I bought the classic medium thinking it would be the best fit for my needs, however within a few weeks it felt like it was sinking so I exchanged it for the Pro Adopt Firm. At first I thought I made a huge mistake because it felt like I was sleeping on a board and gave me shoulder pain but after 3 months it is a dream!! I was worried it would continue to bother my shoulders but now I don't have any pain with all the comfort of a firm mattress. If you like a firm mattress and have lower back pain this is for you but you must give it the full 90 days to adapt to your body. It's a firm cloud that will last!

I knew I wanted to go wit a great mattress. I been buying discount brands and been paying the price (fatigue and back pain) as I'm ordering my furniture for my new place I see this one. I lay on it. Instantly I feel I met my match. I haven't even been able to get a firm mattress that was hard but soft at the same time. It's so hard to explain but pro adapt y'all got it baby yes! First time I slept on it after I got it delivered and set up was like a little nap (about an hour) my body was in shock. It had been the first time in years I felt so refreshed from a nap. I was amazed. First full night of sleep soon as I layed down and the bed just cradled me like nothing I have ever felt before I was asleep in no time. In the past when I was dealing wit back pain from sleeping on a horrible bed I would sleep on the floor for the firm ness. No need for that anymore. This bed is heaven sent. The best by far. I recommend the firm for those who haven't been able to find comfort in other firm selection because it's too soft. The price is worth it

The mattress was too firm. As is recommended, for the best night's sleep, I slept on my back. Every morning, upon awakening, I would roll over on my side, and that was uncomfortable, for me. As long as I stayed in one position, on my back, it was bearable. I gave it almost three weeks, then texted the salesperson, and told him of my unhappiness.

Felt great initially but then I started having back pain and waking up with soreness and hip pain. I am a side sleeper. It sinks in well but don't know why I feel like it's a tad too firm. Am trying to switch to a softer one now. Overall it's a great quality bed.

It was a huge gamble to give up a well known old mattress to try a mattress that we hoped would suit both of our desires for firmness/softness. My husband and I are two different sizes and require two different needs for support. Being a chronic pain and orthopedic patient between the two of us, this bed was definitely up for the challenge. My husband was skeptical, but we both decided to use our FitBit sleep analysis to compare. Both of us saw an immediate change in our sleep quality, both technologically and just feeling better. I've never had a tempur pedic but my husband has, and he was most impressed with the extra layer of support the Pro-Adapt provides. I'm not only waking up with deeper rest, but I don't have the extra stiffness that a poorly supported mattress gives me. This is an excellent choice if you're in between firmness/softness desires, and the extra support (not necessarily more firm, literally support) is phenomenal. 10 out of 5 stars if possible.

Slept on the mattress 3 months. It's taken a bit of work to break in the mattress. I walked on it for a total of 75 minutes per my salesperson's recommendation. My back feels great most mornings. It's a little more firm than I'd like for side sleeping.

We bought this mattress in hopes of spending the extra money on Tempurpedic to have life changing sleep. After 5 months we realized the mattress was still very firm, back breaking firm. We ordered the mattress in the winter and was told by the sales associate that the mattress would need to "warm up" to break it in. It's well past the break in period and also past the sleep trial period so unfortunately we are left with this hard mattress. I was in denial that it could be our brand new mattress causing my back and shoulder pain so I switched pillows, went to chiropractor, tried yoga nothing helped! Until I went on vacation and slept in a hotel plush bed and for those 2 nights my back pain disappeared so I know it's our mattress. I feel douped because our mattress is not as body hugging as when we laid on it in the store. We lay in our bed and it feels like a brick. Maybe luxury does not equal comfort.

First few months it was great, but it's aged even more poorly than your average mattress and we seriously regret spending up for what we thought would be a quality product made to last. We did not buy the matching foundation, but our wood slats are well within the provided guidelines. Submitted a warranty claim, and until sag is bad enough you can see a full inch of sag without someone physically on the mattress they will not replace. Go with a cheaper option, you're not buying the product you think here.
