I would give this 5 stars for comfort but am disappointed at how hot it gets in the summer. Of course I am offered an upgrade to the cool breeze if I want to spend another $1000. Disappointing that for as much as this mattress was that it sleeps so hot. Can not beat the comfort though, and since I live in a cooler climate the bed is perfect for half the year. My back pain has disappeared.

This is by far the best bed I did ever bad. I normally have back issues that keep me from sleeping through the night but that is quickly becoming a thing of the past now. I'm also taking more naps during my days off. This mattress is awesome. It definitely did take about two weeks to fully break in, as it was extremely firm at first.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mattress is extremely comfortable and in combination with the mechanized lifts it makes for a truly wonderful combination to maximize both sleep and reading or using the tablet. Sleep mode is incredibly comfortable, especially combined with the tempurpedic pillow. This is a bed we use as a relaxation escape from everyday stress. It is truly wonderful. Highly recommend. We first purchased the tempur adapt mattress in the medium-but upon sleeping on it at home, it was entirely too firm. The rep at the store, said the store models are often softer since they have been in use for a while. So keep that in mind when trying them out. We were able to exchange it for the soft tempur pro adapt and was so glad we did. Yes, this one is pricier, but if you are purchasing this brand of mattress, you better get what works-because none of them are cheap. The soft is perfect, even brand new out of the package. I think it would be simpler if Tempur-pedic only had soft or firm version of their mattresses. The mediums are pretty firm-not much difference between them and the firm. The soft versions are always the most comfortable to me.

I owned a Classic Tempurpedic for 15 years when they only made two styles. It served us well but finally dented to the point that replacement was required. I now sleep alone and weigh 100 pounds so the store's computerized mattress analysis determined I need the softest mattress. Since I live near the coast, it's cold most of the year. I wanted a mattress which retains warmth. I've had the Soft Adapt Queen for three weeks, and it is softening up and adapting to my body temperature and sleep pattern. It's light enough for me to lift the corners and attach fitted sheets. I intend to keep it and hope it becomes even better with use. This model is definitely an upgrade from my old one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got mine in January 2019 and it still feels like I am sleeping on a new bed. When traveling I miss two things, my bed and my dog. I am Tempur-pedic customer for life! Also, I ordered the queen size topper for guest. All the visiting guest believe its a tempur-pedic mattress.

My husband and I were involved in a major car accident that left both of us with severe injuries, including a broken neck for me. After spending 3 months in a cervical collar and not being able to lie flat, I suffered from many issues that made sleeping comfortably next to impossible. Once I was able to lie flat, I also suffered from positional vertigo. All of my pressure points hurt and I woke up day after day feeling as if I hadn't slept a wink. We finally decided it was time for a new mattress. We went to the mattress store with a Tempurpedic in mind but decided to lie on the machine to see which mattresses were compatible for us based on our body type and sleep positions. Thankfully the mattress we had in mind was on both of our lists of compatible mattresses. When we tested the Tempurpedic, it felt amazing! We decided to get the split adjustable bases. It makes reading in bed at night so comfortable. We now both sleep incredibly. An added bonus is the elevated mattress has almost completely eliminated my husband's snoring making it easier for me to fall asleep at night! I highly recommend this mattress. It has been well worth the investment.

This is my second Tempur-Pedic. The mattress delivered is completely unlike the version I tested in a Tempur-Pedic showroom. It is as hard as a rock. My backache this morning is painful. My online sales receipt says "ProAdapt" but does not specify ProAdapt or ProAdapt 1.0 or Pro Adapt 2.0. Yes, I was confused when the warranty drop down gave those 3 choices. The tag on my mattress says 2.0. How was I to know there is more than one version? I am told by customer service I probably tried an older version. 2.0 is currently being shipped. Nothing can be done until the 30 night trial is over. So, I am supposed to be sleep deprived for 30 nights, on this brick that was delivered to my house? I am not interested in letting the mattress confirm to my body or breaking it in. Thank you, Tempur-Pedic for the worst night's' I can remember. Fortunately, I kept my old mattress to give to a women's shelter. Unfortunately, they will not be getting it because the old mattress from 2006 is by far better than this misrepresentation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my first tempurpedic in 1997 after i lost my house in a flood. Had it until my divorce in 2015, she kept the mattress somehow. Did not get restful sleep until I GOT MY NEW MATTRESS and have been sleeping soundly ever since. My new one is better than my old one. Coupled with the adjustable base and I don't snore as bad, no sore throat when i wake up. If you want a good nights sleep this is it. I don't even get up to go to the bathroom 3 times a night anymore. I suspect discomfort was waking me, vacating my bladder allowed my joints to get back in alignment so I could go back to sleep every night. Now if I wake up I really do have to go. Life has gotten so much better. Mark

We bought a Tempur-pedic mattress decades ago when they first came out... Then year's ago we bought a Sleep Number Adjustable bed... Now once again, we own a Tempur-pedic with their adjustable base. There is no comparison to the comfort and the base operates much smoother than the SN.
