Really nice blanket, cute warm. However the material of it is super water absorbent. It’s also a heavier blanket. Twice in 2 different front load washers it unbalanced the machine and sat in bottom absolutely soaked with water, seemed like it weighed a ton! So hard to wring out and get dry enough to spin out. The only way I can do it is if it’s washed at our laundry service in their industrial commercial machines. Very inconvenient and ridiculous to have to do that when you just want to wash your blanket up. Kept it though because we have our laundry sent out to at our air bnb anyway regularly. If I did not have that option, I’d probably have thrown it out after the second time it got water logged and screwed up my load. I did try my best to balance it too.

I own several BFD pieces and the smaller throw, and this is almost identical to their fabric (the cozy chic like someone else mentioned). It’s thick enough to hopefully last a while, and is super warm and snuggly. I ordered one online then found them in my store and bought 3 more. These would make a great gift, and are affordable enough to get multiple for around the house. My daughter loves these blankets and has to sleep with it every night. I’m bummed that most of the clothing is unavailable for shipping, hoping they will restock soon. If you’re able buy this and treat yourself!

Bought this blanket last week, it’s huge and very soft but it has a horrible smell to it that is so bad I ended up having serious asthma attack because of it. I had it washed and it still smells. I never thought a blanket could cause such medical issues
