From the first night, it was just about perfect! No more sore and aching spots! Pressure points relieved, at last! My husband, finds it very comfortable with the only exception being that it's difficult for him to turn over! Other than that, it's almost perfect. No problem with being hot and certainly never any problem with off gassing!

My spouse and I were nervous about spending so much money on a mattress. My spouse has a history of severe back issues and no mattress ever worked for them just right. They would often wake up with significant back pain. We finally decided to take the chance on the TEMPER- after failed attempts with traditional mattresses, and a box mattress. We both could not be happier. This mattress is a dream come true. My spouse does not wake up with back pain anymore. My husband is a back sleeper and likes his mattress on the firm side and I'm a side sleeper and like my mattress soft. This is the perfect mattress for both of us. It's so comfortable and my husband likes that he doesn't feel like he's in a sink hole. This is our 4th mattress in the last 9 months and I wish we would have saved ourselves months of discomfort and just got this mattress. We are so happy! Don't time like we did and get this mattress.

I purchased this mattress almost 4 months ago. I wanted to sleep on it several months before posting a review, as I think it is more helpful to others when reading reviews before a purchase. While this is a VERY comfortable mattress, it is supposed to be cooling all night, and I did purchase the cooling mattress cover, it definitely does not keep you cool. I've woken up many times per night, for many nights, hotter than Hades. I literally have to move to a whole other spot in the bed, luckily I got a king size! I've tried thinner blankets hoping that was part of the problem, but it is not the blankets, it's the mattress or cover holding the heat. It does not happen every night, fortunately, but it does happen quite often. My husband says he's noticed it also, but not as much as I do, he could sleep through a tornado. It is very comfortable though. I'm sure I'll enjoy it in the winter months.

It is a bit firm for me but is very good quality. My husband said it is a bit firm, but his back felt good and he slept well. He wishes it would conform to the shape of the body a little more. He also would like it to be not so thick because he does activities sitting on the bed and the mattress is higher off the floor than he would like. Our old mattress was 17 years old. My heels would hurt if I laid on my back because I have heel spurs. My hips would hurt if I laid on either side for very long, so I was constantly waking up in pain. I was having to change position in the bed when I would wake up in pain from side to side to back. I would wake up tired and in pain! My husband has back pain. He could not find any position on our bed to be comfortable. Since we have gotten our new TEMPURE-LuxeAdapt Soft mattress, we have both been sleeping better. I still have some pain, but nothing like it was before we got our new mattress. We have had our mattress for about 3 weeks and it has been a dream. It really holds your body and prevents much of the tossing and turning. The firm is not too hard and actually feels more like a medium. Maybe it is just me, but I have been dreaming like crazy! When I am out.....I don't move until the morning. Expensive, but worth the price. At first it was a little difficult to turn over, but once I figured it out.....all good. I was worried about the heat (live Hawaii),, but it is not a problem.
