Bought it last summer. My 40 year old son and I put it together. Would be easier for 3 or even 4 people but my son and I are resourceful! We put lights on it and I constructed a bar on the side facing our above ground pool. All the pieces fit together just as in the instructions. For the money, I felt this was super nice! Just got married and I plan to put one in the back yard of my wife’s home which we plan to keep. Be aware, this is cedar wood construction and there is nothing flimsy about it! Just a foot note; one of the corner braces had a bad chip on arrival and a replacement came super quick, no questions asked.

We love our new Discovery Gazebo! It’s not fully set up yet with our additions (curtains, lights, etc) but we’re getting there! Even bare, our new gazebo brings so much more life to the backyard. We can’t wait to entertain and excited to finally have some shade as well. I highly recommend this product!

Love the look of this gazebo. Does take some time to put together but well worth the work. Everything matched up perfectly. We had a couple parts missing out of the boxes. Luckily was some of the last pieces needed. Called customer service and they jumped on it quickly. That was extremely appreciated!!

We bought this a month ago and my husband put it together and kept on commenting that this a great assembly and the wood and pieces are top quality. I helped with putting on the roof until we got to the 14 ft panels and enlisted help from our 21 year old dog sitter, who is tall and strong. We bought our gazebo at the beginning of the summer. From ordering it, to delivery, to assembly, to enjoying it, we have been more than satisfied. The step by step instructions were very well done and the parts were high quality and very accurately labeled and manufactured for easy assembly. We are very impressed with the gazebo and enjoy our time using it now and plan on enjoying it for years to come!

This Gazebo is engineered well, packaged great and if you follow the written instructions you will not have a problem. Now with that said, please put the 10 hours of intermediate assembly time out of your head, it takes much more that that. I consider myself advanced when it comes to assembly of something like this and other than needing help to raise the roof panels and adding the side trim I built it myself and I am 64. The roof panel install took 1 1/2 hours with three people and you will need that many in my opinion. Follow all the tips and instructions in the manual. I really recommend spending the time to open every box and remove everything. Keep all the hardware in their bags so you can reference the part number. Organize the wood, hardware and other misc. parts. Regarding the kit I received, nothing was broken or missing. If you are following the instructions everything fits together as intended. If you are finding yourself wanting to rework something you are probably building it wrong. All bolt locations and pilot holes were where they should be. I built this Gazebo on a new paver patio. The 4 x 4's shown in the picture were squared and spanned using the drawing in the manual to support the Gazebo and are buried in concrete 30" down. I did not want to anchor the Gazebo to the pavers or pour separate slabs but instead wanted to use Lag Bolts through the Gazebo columns which I knew were hollow into the 4 x 4's. Again in my opinion this how I wanted to support lateral forces and wind load. When you first open all the boxes and see all the parts the project looks overwhelming. But in truth it's not and if you take your time you will be happy with the build. This is a very robust, well designed and manufactured product that in no way looks cheap sitting on your patio.

It took us a few days to put together and I am not handy at all. I was concerned about sturdiness but once it’s complete, it’s solid! I love the look of it. I would highly recommend this gazebo! All the parts were in the boxes, make sure you pre-drill the holes like it says in the instructions. Great product. Please make a mosquito net and sun screen for it Backyard!

Very nice product, but do yourself three favors. 1) Download the BILT app. This helps clear up any doubts you have about how things go together. You still have to pay attention to the details of the instructions! 2) Don't get in a hurry. Make sure you take the time to make sure the parts are properly aligned before tightening things down. This will aid in proper fit in subsequent steps. 3) Have plenty of room to lay out the six cartons that this unit comes in. I was killing myself trying to make sub-assemblies in one side of my garage and digging through boxes while it poured down rain outside. Also, it's really nice to have help. It DOES TAKE THREE PEOPLE to install the roof panels. After some struggles, still Very happy with this piece.
