We bought one of these a year ago and just love it! We don't have a garage so when the weather is bad I pull my SUV under it. This spring we had two different days of 80 mph straight line winds. It blew a healthy mature tree over, uprooting it. The gazebo is just fine with absolutely no damage. My husband and grown sons put it together and although it took a while it wasn't too bad. Lots of boxes/pieces but if you get them organized before you start it helps.

The instructions were easy to follow along with the bilt app 3D views. Considering the amount of parts and pieces of material nothing was missing. In most cases there were extra nuts, bolts and screws. I was really impressed with the simplicity of the installation.

Just finished constructing the Backyard 16x12 gazebo. I found the design to be very good, the quality to be excellent with high quality cedar and metal roofing material. I now understand why it has a 100mph wind rating. Assembly instructions were easy to read, and I really appreciated the ability to pre-assemble the roof sections on the ground by myself prior to recruiting help for the final assembly, which took less than half a day! You get what your pay for!

I was very pleased with the quality of this product. The wood was very well prepared and the quality of the bolts and hardware were 100%!! I would highly consider this product. The instructions were well detailed via the images, but I think they could have add additional written instructions and tips.

I purchased this Gazebo last summer and had them assemble it too. They contracted semi-local contractors to actually assemble it and they did a phenomenal job. The gazebo itself is very sturdy (held up perfectly to very strong winds and heavy snows this winter) and visually pleasant and inobtrusive. I did install a misting system to the outside perimeter which works wonderfully and keeps a large patio/pool deck very comfortable. I highly recommend this gazebo!

I had the gazebo assembled in September. The crew that put it up worked quickly and did a great clean up job. The gazebo is very functional and receives so many compliments on the look. It is extremely sturdy and provides great shelter from the Michigan elements. It is nice to be able and sit outside even when raining.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this unit just before July 4th and was able to put the unit up almost by myself. The instructions were easy to follow, all parts were properly labeled and pre drilled. If I had room I'd buy a second one

A lot of pieces for sure. Packed very tight. Finding the right numbered piece took some time until you got into all the boxes. All pieces went together good. One man picking parts two men screwing together. If time allows find and separate pieces according to part you are working on.

We purchased 3 acres in the country and built our homes. We needed a perfect spot to relax and entertain friends. This gazebo fills the bill for relaxing in the afternoon listening to the birds or entertaining friends in our new relaxing country home. Eventually, we are building a pond area in front of the gazebo for additional country relaxation.

If you go slow and take your time it’s not that bad to put together, even for your average homeowner. It took me and a friend 1 full day and 3 half days (after work). That doesn’t include sorting the wood and removing plastic. That took a couple hours as well with 2 people. It also comes with a lot of the bits you will need. We got away with a small ladder until it came time for the 16’ panels. Then we needed a 6’ in the middle and we used a bench to step up on for the people holding the base. It took 2 husbands and 2 wives to get the roof up! It’s really heavy and you will definitely need at least 3 It really wasn’t that bad, and it felt good to be able to say I put that together for guests that come by. The only issue I have is even though we were able to get all the pilot holes to line up, we still had to make cuts for the metal roof to cover the entire frame. It actually states this in the directions multiple times. (If the wood is too long, cut it!) Not really what I like to see as the homeowner that took his time to make sure everything was lined up because I didn’t want to cut it. There’s also another part where it states is crucial to being able to get the roof on the frame. However, the area they give you to measure is in the air next to the frame over the shoulder area, so you are left kind of guessing if you’re in the right spot. Besides those , pretty straightforward install. Things sweet.
