The gazebo arrived in 6 large boxes. I put it togther with my two boys; 8 and 10. I would recommend having a couple adults to assist. You'll definitely need 3 adults to install the roof panels. Now that it's installed, we are hoping for years of enjoyment. So far, so good!

Love how this turned out! Built very well. Only difficult part putting it together was the roof which was expected. We have loved sitting underneath it in our backyard! My only complaint(suggestions?) would be to look into the design of the add-on mounted plug-in. Our first thing to plug in were programmable string lights and the plug doesn’t allow the cover to shut over the plug. We are now looking at alternative options to plug things in.

I was very pleased with the quality of this product. The wood was very well prepared and the quality of the bolts and hardware were 100%!! I would highly consider this product. The instructions were well detailed via the images, but I think they could have add additional written instructions and tips.

I'm very pleased with the purchase of this gazebo. It looks great and is high quality. I'm amazed at how well all the pieces lined up. The directions were easy to follow, both the printed instructions and the Bilt app. It took two very full days to build. Now it's done, and I couldn't be happier with it.

We love this gazebo! The construction is beautiful and provides a great little space for family conversations and relaxation. We have spent every spare moment under in our new patio area. No regrets here! I keep joking with my husband that we don’t need vacations anymore because the most relaxing vacation is in our own backyard!

I was attracted to this 14x12 Barrington gazebo because of its wind rating, as I live close to the water in FL and tropical storms are always a risk. The structure is very robust. Had some concerns about potential for leakage from the ridge cap but after two heavy rains, there were no leaks. Very happy with physical appearance, would purchase it again over 3 other brands considered. .

It's absolutely beautiful and incredibly sturdy. We decided to build it ourselves, it was tedious but the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The holes lined up easily, just don't tighten the hardware until they are all lined up. IT IS HEAVY! We had to have 4 people just to lift the 5 boxes off the truck. This is not a 1 man job, you'll need at least 3 people to install the roof. There are videos on YouTube showing people building these that include alot of hints and tips.

We bought this 12x12 back in August of 2025. It was a bit of a challenge for my wife and I to put together but we did it the right way. We stained every piece and took the time making sure it was correct. Everything was labeled correctly and every piece went together as noted. Plenty or hardware and Zero surprises. Be patient and you will have no problems. Now we are just enjoying the finished product. Highly recommend.

We purchased our Gazebo about a month ago and it is one of the best purchases we ever made! We love our back deck, but in the afternoon and early evening, the sun beats down on the deck making it almost unusable. We installed the Gazebo on the deck and added roll up/down blinds to the west and north side, a ceiling fan, and lighting. Our only regret is that we didn’t do it 20 years ago. My wife and I installed the deck doing most of the work ourselves. We engaged our son to help lift the 12 foot roof panels into place. You definitely need at least 3 people for that step. The instructions and BILT app were absolutely perfect. They were very clear and we didn’t encounter any mistakes or issues. We finished it with linseed oil, which we plan on reapplying twice a year (spring and fall).

I just completed the staining and assembly of the Barrington 14x12 gazebo. You won’t find a better company than Backyard Discovery for pre-sales & installation support, quality materials, 5 yr. warranty, and beautiful design. We are extremely pleased!!!
