Purchase a remote control version before and wanted the Alexa, Google integration. Price was good, quality is okay. The cord is thinner and bulbs not as bright but having part of the smart house is cool. Very customizable. App works.

Lights fail too soon

We bought 5 strings of these without the wifi. The lights are heavy duty and well constructed and the color changing is nice for the different holidays. Everything is great when they work. We've had 3 different strings that half of the string quit lighting up. Every now and then the second half will come on for whatever reason. These lights are on a boathouse (protected from the elements under the roof) and aren't used very often. It's a pain for me to replace these plus they are way to expensive to quit working. As they quit working, I will be replacing with something more reliable.

New and Replacements NOT WORKING

Bought 2 sets in 2023 and they worked perfectly until just a few weeks ago and they just stopped. Tried everything that you will read below and only one set would work randomly. Got to reading on here that there is a 3 year warranty. Called Jasco and they quickly sent two more replacement sets. Meanwhile, I purchased another set from the store website and thought I might string up 3 total sets. Hooked up the 2 replacement sets today and they were working just fine. Connected Alexa, easy peasy. Turned them off, came back home a few hours later, no response. I've been outside for the last hour disconnecting each strand, trying each power supply (5 different ones). One string would turn on randomly. Tried to connect to the other string. Nothing. Took the power supply over to the other string. Worked! Tried to connect sets. Nothing. Hooked up only the set that worked. Nothing. The outlet works on everything else. WHAT IS GOING ON??? Is there some sort of reset? Did Jasco change software that rendered these things useless? I am beyond frustrated and ready to take all of the sets back to Sam's.

unable to work as connected string of lights

I purchased one set of these lights and they worked great. So I went by to back to about three more but none of them would work when you tried to connect them into one group. It says you can connect up to nine I could not get any of them to work so I ended up bringing all of them back.

Awesome, but mine has water in it

I love these lights, but they have only been up since June and we already have water in one of the bulbs. I thought they were waterproof? Not sure what to do at this point and if any others will have the same issue. Purchased 2 to connect and are ziptied to my gazebo. The ambiance is amazing at night, just not sure how long they will hold up.

DONT BUY THIS CRAP

DON'T BUY THESE. I have the original box. The LED's are lifetime guaranteed per box. Have three strands hooked up in a row outside. After about two years of perfectly working use, not visibly damaged, five consecutive LEDs in the middle strand stopped working. All other lights on either side still work. I examined them and the manual says to twist them, and they don't twist. The small domed light part is held in by three tiny screws which I did not open. I called the customer support line which is all robot answered, entered the appropriate choice, was informed by robot that all their support was in a meeting and suggested using their website, byjasco.com. After a few more seconds the call was ended at their end. They hung up on me. The website is not at all useful, offering no way to get replacement LED's or find out useful information; it only allows you to buy more of their products. There is a chat box which I filled out and have not gotten a response. Based on other comments I see here and my own experience, I do NOT recommend this product. The manual that came with the lights also says you can buy replacement lights at Amazon. I went to Amazon and all they sell are complete light strands. My wife really likes these lights when they work, but they are unreliable and are completely misrepresented in the product box and literature.
