I bought two sets of these maybe 5 years ago. They still work great. They were outside on our back porch through several hurricanes and florida humidity. just moved and rehung them... working great. They clunk and clonk, but don't break.

Bought 2 sets in 2023 and they worked perfectly until just a few weeks ago and they just stopped. Tried everything that you will read below and only one set would work randomly. Got to reading on here that there is a 3 year warranty. Called Jasco and they quickly sent two more replacement sets. Meanwhile, I purchased another set from the store website and thought I might string up 3 total sets. Hooked up the 2 replacement sets today and they were working just fine. Connected Alexa, easy peasy. Turned them off, came back home a few hours later, no response. I've been outside for the last hour disconnecting each strand, trying each power supply (5 different ones). One string would turn on randomly. Tried to connect to the other string. Nothing. Took the power supply over to the other string. Worked! Tried to connect sets. Nothing. Hooked up only the set that worked. Nothing. The outlet works on everything else. WHAT IS GOING ON??? Is there some sort of reset? Did Jasco change software that rendered these things useless? I am beyond frustrated and ready to take all of the sets back to Sam's.

Now that these lights are installed over our deck, they work great. But it was a challenge to get them to work correctly. First, one of the two light strings was defective, so we had to return it for another. Then, we were never able to get them to work with Bluetooth, which meant that automatic set-up was unavailable. That left manual set-up, which works through WiFi. And then I had to reinstall them after disconnecting them during the process of hanging the cable they're attached to. And that was another chore. So if you are up for a challenge, these lights work great.

Could no longer find replacements for the lights we had around cookout area & shade garden. Bought 4 strands. Best features of these lights for me was 1- direct plug in to next strand, only 1 power box to deal with, 2- no remote control to try to keep up with plus I already had embrighten on my phone & 3- no timer it’s built into app. Only negative is that installing instruction does not tell you how to install additional strands. If reviews had not told how to install I would have sent 3 strands back thinking they didn’t work. Looking forward to see how they look at Christmas

Love these lights, they look great. Bought 3 sets and hooked in series on poles around our deck. Would give them 5 stars if the bluetooth and WiFi worked as advertised. I have not been able to get them working via phone app yet, so we just use manual control on power supply module.

I buy 4 sets I connected all together at once and power on only one set have power. the trick is connect one set then power off connect another set power on and off again should put the trick in the instruction we wasted so much time to figure it out

I bought 3 sets of these as a replacement for my Edison lights, Big Mistake! The lights are very dim and while the App feature is nice the color options are very limited and very generic looking. I actually put my old lights back up.. Not very happy with this purchase! Very disappointed.

I was looking for string lights that were LED, non-breakable bulbs, and which were able to be controlled by Alexa. These string lights fit the bill. Pros: - Able to be controlled by Alexa (but see con below) - LED acrylic bulbs - 4 strings are able to be connected end-to-end, all controlled by 1 control unit at the front of the string - Control unit uses wifi - 6 shades of white, 56 colors, 11 preset modes/schemes, ability to create custom mode/schemes including color/dimming/features such as fade/blink/twinkle/etc. Cons: - Since the strings connect end-to-end, only 1 control unit is needed. Each set comes with a control unit, so you'll end up with spares. - Which isn't a bad thing... one of my control units only supported 3 strings instead of 4. I'm sure I just needed to reset it or something, but it was easier to just replace it with one of the spares. - The Enbrighten app is full-featured, but the Alexa skill doesn't have the same functionality. Basically, the Alexa app can turn the lights on or off. In my use case, this is fine as I have Alexa control the lights based on certain events. Don't expect to be able change colors though in the current version of the skill. Other considerations: - The lights aren't your traditional lights-hanging-down-on-a-cord style. Be sure to look at the product pictures to make sure it's what you expect. - There is no remote control - you use the app on your phone. If you are not comfortable using an app on your phone to control the lights, there are other models of string lights which use only a remote control. Mostly good points, a couple of minor bad. Overall, a good buy.
