We took inspiration from the box it came in and had a Kentucky Bourbon tasting. This dish is dishwasher and microwave safe (HOORAY)! It gives it that extra special touch. The plate is made of porcelain and on the bottom engraved/stamped with designed in Detroit. I got the Minnesota plate from Influenster and decided I need to send one to my other family. I have family in Texas and Florida and will be getting them one for Christmas! This is a very nice plate that is in the shape of a state. Also, it is big. If you have a unusual shaped state, you will need to plan accordingly regarding storage.
