Other than using it to put out crackers and cheese or a meat array. I wouldn't use it for anything else. But I LOVE IT.

Plate is nice but I would have really liked to receive the one from Texas but was all out! Maybe next time. I think it is such a cute idea to make a serving plate in the shape of states. They would be great for sports-viewing parties when you are cheering for your home state, or maybe even an Election Day party. It would be good for hot dip, since it is oven-safe. The item seems sturdy, but not too heavy.
