My partner and I have both been suffering for quite some time from back, neck and shoulder pain. We noticed we felt the worst in the mornings along with never getting a restful nights sleep. Ever since we got our new tempurpedic mattress and pillows we've been sleeping like babies!! We wake up with relatively zero pain and the results were almost immediate. Best decision we ever made!

I had some soreness in my leg and could not sleep with my other mattress. This bed gives me a good nights sleep without the pain. It also helps with the snoring as we got the up/down bed frame. The only thing that takes more time is changing the sheets as we have two twin XL.

By far, the foam used is better than ANY matresses out there. If you lay on other matresses you will immediately feel the difference. My back problems have disappeared. I am a side sleeper and love this mattress. I also bought the Tempurpedic adjustable base and this tops it off to the best restful sleep I have had in years . I celebrated my retirement by splurging on a Adapt Medium. I had gotten my money's worth out of my old foam mattress and it was time for a change, but this time I was going to do it right. I got an education about mattresses from our locally-owned Mattress Firm in Albuquerque and tried out just about every bed in the store. When I met the Adapt Medium, it was love at first sight and after the friendly salesman introduced me to the Ergo Smart Base, the deal was sealed. Sure, there was a little ticket shock at first, but you get what you pay for in this world and the time we spend sleeping is pretty significant, so why not get one of the best beds made? The company sent two young men to take away my old bed and set up the new one. They were in and out like a flash, but not before they showed me how the base works and answered all my questions. It's been a week now since I bought my Adapt mattress and I love it! Not only do I wake up in the morning feeling bright-eyed, but those aches and pains I've been accustomed to lately have all but disappeared.

It's soft but very supportive- great for relieving back pain. My only complaint is the super smooth feel of the mattress cover causes sheets to slip around. I had to buy fitted sheets with corner loops to help hold them in place.

My experience has been bad. I bought the mattress from a local mattress company. When I started to have back problems, I called the number for Tempur-Pedic that said "Need Help? Talk to a sleep Expert." They refused to help me other than to tell me to call the mattress store since I did not buy the mattress direct from Tempur-Pedic. When one spends a lot of money to buy an expensive mattress, one would want to try it out first and you can't do that by ordering it directly from the manufacturer, I would think. I think I got the run around from Tempur-Pedic. I spent a lot of money for an expensive mattress and they only were willing to talk about if there was a factory defect. A back problem was a "comfort" issue and I was told to call the mattress store. The most useful comments suggested below says to contain specific information: How this product has changed my life: I have a back problem now. I don't know if it was coincidental with the purchase of the Tempur-Pedic mattress. But despite giving a phone number to call for help, I felt that they blew me off. Things you love about it: Nothing Things you don't love about it: I spent a lot of money to get a superior mattress, and I don't know if it is contributing to my back problem or not, but Tempur-Pedic in my opinion is giving me no useful help.

We slept on the mattress for 33 nights then went to the retailer seeking a refund invoking the 90 refund policy. The mattress is too firm. Both my wife and I slept poorly and got up each morning sore. An exchange for a softer Tempurpedic was going to cost an additional $800 and that became an excessive expense on top of the high price of the original purchase. We chose not to buy it. We are both 60 and of average height and normal weight. The best thing I can say is the refund from the retailer was no hassle.

We tried several models and firmness ratings before settling on the Adapt Medium. It is as completely comfortable as our original and we are sure we will have many years of great sleep on our new mattress. Once you have experienced the comfort of Tempur-pedic, no other mattress will do.

We thought this bed was a great buy and were excited to have it however I soon realized I was getting too warm when I wake up and need to move to a cooler place on the mattress. It was like the heat gets trapped. My husband on the other hand really enjoyed it at first but the longer we have had it, the more achy he has become and frequently has been waking up. We are both side sleepers and we think we need a softer bed also. This hybrid having 1/2 spring facilitates love making better than 100% foam but due to the aches and heat, we are considering a trade in for a traditional spring mattress.
