I've always wanted a Temperpedic mattress and finally decided it was time. I know most people will think the price is a bit much, but after having mine for some time, i feel this is a quality mattress that will last me a lifetime. I find that i don't toss and turn like i used to with my old mattress and wake up very well rested. Overally, if you have the money, I don't think you will be dissapointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TEMPUR-Adapt Medium has been comfortable, supportive, and has given me more consistent sleep on a nightly basis. I would recommend the softer version for a side sleeper, but these mattresses sleep cool and so far have not developed a "hole" where I sleep.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a great experience with the purchase and delivery. After ~30 days we are still undecided on the comfort. It is not quite as "soft" as we would have anticipated with a medium firmness. After seeing all the rave reviews and paying the cost of this mattress, we were anticipating "game changing" sleep, but that has not been the case for us.

I've owned my Adapt for a little less than 3 years. It is currently sitting on a support system rated to hold up under 500 pounds on each side. The mattress has gone nearly flat under weight in the mid section creating a lot of back pain for both my wife and I. We put in for a warranty claim and were turned down because we didn't have their base under it. The mattress was great while it lasted (a year before I started having issues and 2 and a half years for my wife), however, for the increased price of the mattress plus the support system required for it to not fall apart is too high in comparison to cheaper mattresses that are just as comfortable and last longer without the additional cost of a high tech support system.

At first this seemed like an amazing mattress, my wife and I were excited and enjoyed having a "high quality" mattress for the first time in our lives. A few months passed, the trial period went by, and all was well, until, slowly but surely, my wife started to experience chronic pain. This bed has cause my wife to not only have pain every night when she sleeps, but also while she's away from the bed during the day. She now has occipital neuralgia, chronic hip, back, arm, and leg pain. None of which were present before this bed, and all of which have gotten worse the more she sleeps on it. She now has tried countless things to treat the pain, from something as simple as new pillows and a mattress pad, all the way to getting nerve blocks. But it all comes back to the fact that as long as she's sleeping on this bed, nothing will fix the pain. Normally we'd just initiate a return and try another option, no harm no foul, but with the short trial period (other companies offer year long trial periods) tempurpedic said there was nothing they could do (we all know that isn't true). I just reached out again, a few months after my first inquiry, because, again, the pain has just gotten worse, but I'm also again not too hopeful. Unfortunately the amount that these mattresses cost makes it unfeasible for us to get a new mattress, especially since it won't be paid off for another 2.5 years. I'm writing this review to make people aware that the trial period is not nearly long enough to determine if a mattress (that you could spend a decade plus sleeping on) is right for you. And if you go past that trial period tempurpedic will wash their hands of you, no matter what, so you better hope nothing arises.

First day I wanted to send it back! The whole night I thought this bed is way to hard.I didn't sleep very well first night But one of my coworkers said to try it for a couple of weeks,it will soften up It has been about a month.....I still think it's a little hard, but my husband likes it. The ones in the store have been broken in , and are nice you sink in them. I bought medium.....the soft at the store was to soft I think I'm starting to get used to it

This is my first memory foam mattress. It's ok, I seem to be waking up with a sore lower back which I didn't with my pillow top. Maybe it just needs some breaking in? I do love the adjustable base... makes it so much more comfortable when reading or watching tv in bed.

Just purchased our first Tempur-Pedic bed. Upon entering, every sales associate greeted us. Vince took us to four different mattresses, explaining all with expertise. I did not feel pressured, rather I felt like a guest whose needs were trying to be met with professionalism and accuracy. From there Vince showed us several pillow styles until we found the one that best matched our mattress selection. Finally, Vince turned into Al Buddy as he patiently helped me find a pair of slippers that were both cute and comfortable. Finally, the manager Paul helped with finalizing the transaction, both ensuring that everything was correct and that we were highly satisfied before leaving. I'm very excited to try our new bed but based on the store experience I feel confident we will sleep very well! As for customer service, Vince knocked it out of the park! I've never slept better than I have since I bought this mattress! I sleep like a baby. This mattress is very comfortable and cozy! I used to toss and turn and wake up through the night. Now I can sleep through the night without even waking up once! It does take getting used to though, when I hop into bed though as there is no "spring" to it like you get from a regular mattress. Totally worth the investment!
