It is a quality mattress. I have hip pain and it seems firm for me. I chose an adjustable frame to help with position also. I need to sleep on it longer to adapt.

Had the mattress almost a month. I've yet to sleep through the night on it. Some mornings I still wake up with slight back pain, though nothing like when I had my 16 year old regular (albeit very good) mattress.
