I bought it to replace my 20 year old Tempur-pedic mattress after testing a new mattress at a relative's home and realizing mine had lost some comfort over the last 20 years. Even 20 years old, it was still comfortable and I was content with it, but I realized a new mattress would be even better and even more comfortable, so I replaced it with a new one. I love it. I have trouble sleeping, but my sleep difficulties have nothing to do with the mattress. Even laying awake on the mattress for hours is so relaxing, as I feel muscle tension leaving my body, and only the constant insomnia and noise in my head keep me awake. Still, though, I'm physically comfortable as I lay awake. I will never, ever buy a different brand mattress. I may need to replace this one in a decade or two, when I realize that it ,ay have started to be not quite as good as a newer one would be,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was long overdue for a mattress update. I had been sleeping on the original Tempur-Pedic set from over 10 years ago. I must say the quality has definitely come up! I have been getting the best rest ever. I love the thickness and layers of comfort. I am a hot sleeper so I can't hold it against the mattress, but it does sleep cooler than my last set. My only complaint would be that it is hard to change my sheets now that I have to mess with a heavier mattress, but I will survive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The delivery was organized, on time and carful with the removal of the old mattress. The tempurpedic hybrid medium is a perfect fit. I used to have an issue with my hands going numb in certain sleeping positions, and since we have had the new mattress, it's been non existent. I also struggle with insomnia which has minimized as well. My husband is a night own and I'm a morning person. But when he comes to bed, he no longer wakes me up at odd hours in the night. Nor do I wake him when I get up at 5am to go to the gym. It's helping a lot with mental clarity, restful REM sleep and the overall temperature of the mattress is comfortable as well. I can't believe we didn't switch sooner to this mattress. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mattress is good. It's pretty comfortable. Im a side sleeper and my shoulders and hips have issues it seems. However, the adjustable base helps some with that. I don't think the "cooling" stuff in the mattress cover does anything, especially after you put a mattress protector and a fitted sheet on top of it. Ours doesn't have much "cooling" stuff and I'm glad as I think paying more for stuff you're hiding under layers of cloth would be a waste of money. It has helped my ankles/achilles-tendons which were previously very stiff in the morning. My lower back is also doing much better with this mattress than my prior mattress. The medium firm is pretty firm still - we've only had it for a short period of time and we keep the room pretty cool - so it stays on the firmer side. My only real negative is, it's expensive!

I owned tempur-pedic before, but this one is NO Good. I have had the worst nights sleep on this mattress. My whole body aches the next morning , takes me 2 extra strength tylenol to get moving after sleeping on this mattress. only 2 more years and it will be paid for and i can get something else.

By the time, the delivery team was ready to pick it up, I started to feel more comfortable on the mattress but thought I was too far into the return process to turn back. I'm back on a traditional mattress and am realizing the real benefits of the Tempurpedic. I strongly recommend that you give this mattress about 4-5 weeks before you judge it.

This is our second Tempurpedic mattress. The first one is 25 years old and still going strong in our other home. The new one is a Medium Hybrid. It feels a little soft to me, but I fear the firm would be too hard. Perhaps the hybrid coils are what give it its "softness". The mattress it replaced is 30 years old so anything would feel more comfortable.

I spent many weeks trying to figure out which of the new matresses was closest to the feel of my previous one. In the store i was leaning to adapt pro firm, which was $1000 more. Discussed w online costumer support for tempurpedic, who suggested this one. And they were right. Firm, but it feels it hugs you and supports you through the night for an amazing night of sleep! I couldn't be happier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mattress is so comfortable- it's firm yet feels soft like it conforms to your body shape, providing stability and support. My only critique is that if you sit on the edge of the mattress it has no support at all, bending and not supporting weight. For example, putting on my socks in the morning - if I sit on the side of bed the mattress has too much "give" or flexibility- but when I'm sleeping more center of the mattress it's absolutely perfect.
