After looking at a number of options, the TEMPUR-Adapt medium did not disappoint -- the adaptive material is firm enough to provide support and yet soft enough to yield a great night's sleep.

It took me at least two weeks to adjust to the different feel of this mattress. I wasn't sure I works be able to keep it. I was so used to a pillow top. But I noticed that I had no more joint pain during the night that used to wake me up. I also felt that my sleep was a much deeper one. So I'm sticking with it and it is getting to be a better experience.

We bought some organic brand that was highly rated and highly $$$ but after 7 months I couldn't stand it anymore. My back was killing me every morning! Bought another tempurpedic and now my back is back to normal. I bought a cooling mattress cover because it does hold heat. But I won't ever buy anything other tempurpedic. Ever again...

We owned a Tempur-Pedic previously for just short of 20 years. Our bed is set up to accommodate the mattress without a box spring and the old mattress fit perfectly. Our new mattress is 2 inches narrower and 1-3/4 inches shorter. So now we see the wood platform it lies on. Very disappointing. The mattress is comfortable or we wouldn't have bought it. Don't feel the cooling effects of the mattress cover either. It's also very high uncomfortable to sit at the edge of the bed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There was no breaking in period or off gassing! The mattress and sleep where perfect starting on night one. I have a queen-medium firmness, and it supports my lower back and curves just enough without letting them sink to deep. It truly does form to your body in all the right way, without feeling any other sleepers in the bed. Even when my 100lb dog jumps in at night, I don't feel it.

After having this bed for less than a month, the support it provides made the pain go away almost completely. I love it. I am only giving four stars because I was expecting more because of the hype. I was hoping it would fix my problem of constantly being tired, but it does not. My boyfriend hated it at first, but he said he is finally having dreams again, meaning his REM sleep is back. Overall, I like this bed a lot. But is IS very expensive. I would however like to try the other mattresses

At first feel, the mattress seems very firm but it definitely adapts to your body. Since hitting middle age, our bodies no longer enjoyed a super soft mattress as much as we mentally thought that is what we want. We no longer wake up with lower back and leg pain. I highly recommend this mattress for anyone that struggles with arthritis or any pain from just getting older. Absolutely worth the cost to get a better night sleep. Mattress paired great with the adjustable base which offers a vibrate option that litterally lulls you to sleep.

Ive had multiple Tempur-Pedic beds, they are perfectly soft and just melt to your body. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that a bed I had for over a decade still was warrantied by Tempur-Pedic, was the old 20 year prorated warranty. The warranty process was seamless with honestly the best customer service I have seen from any business, ever... Sherrie Dickerson assisted me in upgrading my warranty to a king sized adapt medium, which is just flawless!!! She is a wonderful person!! Sooooo sweet and helpful! Thank you Sherrie! And thank you Tempur-Pedic for being just an awesome company! I will definitely be brand loyal in the future! Keep up the good work!

This was our first memory foam bed, so we thought we were going straight to the top getting the name everyone knows. This bed was uncomfortable from the first night. It felt much firmer than it did in the store, and after reading more reviews, this is usually rated as a medium-firm on the comfort scale. We thought we would give it a fare chance, and ended up sleeping on it nearly the entire sleep trial, but the discomfort and pressure points that made my arms and hands fall asleep never relented. We ended up sending it back, which cost us $150 in freight charges, and it took a whopping 23 days for the refund to get back to our bank from the date the mattress was picked up. I would only recommend this bed to those who like a firm bed, and have money to burn. This mattress always felt hard as a brick to us, and we never saw the value in it for the premium price.

We've had a king-sized Tempurpedic bed for over 20 years and LOVED IT! That mattress changed our lives; no more hip aches, backaches or 3 a.m. tinkle fairy calls. When we decided to get a new bed, we went right back to Tempurpedic. Owning one of these beds is a huge investment and we're thinking this will be the last bed we'll have, at this point in our lives. Getting older and dealing with digestion issues and sinus issues, we went with a new Tempurpedic Adustable Bed with two twin XL beds so we can each adjust our own side. Having been used to a very hard, stable bed, we went to the Medium, at the suggestion of our salesperson. We thought we were coming down one level, to a less hard mattress with a little give) and these new beds are quite a bit softer than what we are used to. I've already returned my mattress once. We LOVE the adjustable part! No more digestive issues at all! I just wish the mattress wasn't so soft. It takes some getting used to, I guess. We also got $300 worth of Tempurpedic products free - unfortunately, the sheets that we got do not stay on the mattresses well, they lift off the edges and bunch underneath you; and the two mattress covers were like sleeping on diapers (the noise and sounds were very disruptive to our sleep; so I've replaced both mattress pads and the two sheet sets that we got for "free". But no complaints with my new pillows!! I do want to say to anyone thinking of purchasing a mattress - lay on them for a long period of time; purchasing a mattress is a huge commitment, financial and health wise and should not be made in a few minutes sitting on a bunch of mattresses. Tell your salesperson what you like and do not like about your current mattress. I wish that the store's return policy was more accommodating; apparently you can only return once - even though you have two mattresses (yes, you get 30 days to return but when you've waited three weeks for your mattress and in four days' time, realize you hate it), of course you want to return immediately for a replacement which, unfortunately took another three weeks to arrive. One really great thing about the new, improved Tempurpedic mattresses vs. my old one; they're much cooler; breath better, I'm sure due to better materials.
