I have had the adapt about 3 weeks. No longer have shoulder pain still some back and neck pain. Not sure if my neck pain is coming from pillow or mattress. Going to change pillow tonight and see if that makes a difference. Also mattress was much firmer than I anticipated. Not sure if I like that yet,

This mattress is so comfortable. I'm a side sleeper and was always waking up with hip pain from our old mattress, but no more. Within the first couple of days is sleeping on the Tempur-Pedic, the hip pain and random aches were gone. Very happy with this purchase.

Do not get the split king. They continuously come apart in the middle. We purchased the split king and an Ease 2.0 base with assurance from customer service we could return if it didn't work for us. There is fine print. You can only return the mattresses. The base was faulty and came apart down the middle as well. Customer service didn't work with us at all regarding the base return even though it's faulty. The only option was replacement. But what am I going to do with a $1400 base that doesn't work? And a standard king doesn't fit up our 1900s house stairwell. Very unhappy customer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my new mattress for about a week and it's a bit firm for a Medium but I know with time it will soften up. The first night I could feel my spine realigning. My previous Tempurpedic was 16yrs old and lost its support. This is a great mattress and very supportive.

After our dealer finally delivered the right bed, I personally love it, more nights of restful sleep for me. My husband apparently is never getting a restful nights sleep. This mattress is not cooling by any stretch of the imagine.... I mean unless you sleep on only the mattress. But you see here's the kicker. You have a warranty for this bed, as long as there are no stains etc. So you are forced into buying a cover, which keeps you from potentially staining the mattress but probably obscures the "cooling" feature of said mattress. I'm purely guessing here, but I would think my husband profuse sweating would qualify as a stain which would render the warranty void according to our dealer. So if this mattress really is cooling we would never know. Same goes for these awful "cooling" pillows, they do not work either. They didn't offer pillow covers, so I am sure they are no longer under warranty. Idk its an awful lot of money to spend on the possibilty of a cooling good nights sleep. Not sure I could recommend this to everyone, especially to those without a diagnosed reason for hot sleeping with sweating. Yet I'm happy with this mattress and so is my back, which I have a herniated disc and degenerative disc disease and I usually wake up pretty refreshed and feeling well with my back!

We are sleeping much better now. The only problem we have is the mattress does become extremely firm when cold so one must be mindful of this factor.

We met with our salesman at a Mancini store. We discussed and laid on many mattresses. We initially were not considering this mattress until we spent time on it. The Medium Hybrid felt so much better than the others and the fact we did not have to turn the mattress was an added bonus! We just received it today and we spent time laying on it and wow! Even our cat loves it!

I do a lot of biking and skiing, so my body feels it at the end of the day, and the purple wasn't up to the task. But the Tempurpedic made an instant impact on my body and my sleep. I track my sleep patterns and there's little movement and I do not wake up at all, which tells me the bed is doing it's job. I feel better than I have in years mentally, so what more could I ask for. We recently purchased our 3rd Tempur-Pedic mattress set in 25+ years. I guess you could say we are "hooked". Our newest T-P mattress is the TEMPUR-Adapt, and may be the best yet. Extremely comfortable! The T-P mattress that the Adapt replaced is now being used in our guest bedroom, and our recent guests raved how comfortable their 3 nights on the 9 year old T-P mattress. Obviously, there remains very useful life for a 9 year old mattress. My wife and I expect and anticipate many comfortable, restful nights on our new TEMPUR-Adapt mattress set. Our only comment ("things we don't love") regarding the new TEMPUR-Adapt would be the "slickness" of the bottom surface of the mattress and the top surface of the box foundation. The "slickness" causes the bottom bed sheet to creep loose during the night requiring an almost remake of the bed. We are not restless sleepers, exactly the opposite (dead-zone sleepers). To date, we have found no acceptable solution to this annoying problem. It matters not what material the sheet sets are made of, we have tried several different fabrics with good cotton sheets being the least susceptible. Your thoughts, comments, and/or solutions will be greatly appreciated. All else being considered, we would likely never be without our Tempur-Pedic!!

My husband was having neck problems sleeping. I was having lower back pain with our old mattress. I dont feel any more pain after switching to this mattress. We both have very physical demanding jobs and train for marathons and triathlons. We are so RECHARGED! Stage 4 every night. It's like having a recliner at the same time. So happy and satisfied customers.
