Product FINALLY arrived!

The package finally arrived, on the last day that was first indicated that it would (7-14). When WalMart moved the arrival date up closer (7-3) - BIG MISTAKE! Kept asking me for feedback on the product that I did not received. Indicated at one point that it was being shipped from a different source. WELL, that explained the original arrival time (July 12-14). I am happy to get the item rather than a refund that was offered to me when I called because the item had not arrived.

Avoid this small size, watered down, few beans

Doesn’t remind me of my past. When I bought this I was hoping that this would remind me of my childhood and eating pork and beans with hotdogs. Well this is so watered down and the the sauce is so thin. There is very few beans in the few cans I have had. The hot dogs are small and very few in each can. The cans are small in size. So don’t expect much in a serving. This is a ripoff in my opinion and a severe letdown. I was expecting so much more. I would’ve liked to see more beans, thicker sauce, more hot dogs, and bigger cans. I would avoid this.

    Not what they used to be.

    Terrible, Used to be lightly sweet and good when i was a kid. Like barbecue kind of. Now the mini hot dogs are flesh colored center, grey outside. The sauce tastes like unseasoned beans. Good jail house slop for people in punishment detail?

    Shipping problems

    We use this product for a weekend backpack program. Since it is a heavier item, it would be helpful to have equalized packaging. Each time we order, we receive 7 cases in one box and only 1 case in a second box. I don't know how else to tell you about this!

    Add a pop top lid and ability to microwave

    Wish they had a pop top to open, instead of having to use a can opener. Plus, if it was in a container, where you can take a plastic lid off, pull the pop top, put the plastic lid back on and put in the microwave. Having to use a separate bowl is wasteful. But the product did taste good.
