Generally, the clear Member’s Mark liquors are fantastic. Good vodka for me is defined by smoothness and the absence of bad flavors. Both this and the standard vodka accomplish this very well, but this vodka is slightly better than the standard Member’s Mark. It works well in martinis, which is fabulous for its price point. I don’t even bother with most other vodkas at this point. Vodka is vodka. It’s an industrial product and at a certain price point and above $20 a fifth you’re paying for marketing and style more so than what you’re drinking. This particular vodka is about $20 a handle, and it’s plenty good for all vodka applications.
