We love popcorn, so when we saw this giant container of Orville Redonbacher, we said why not. So far All our pops have been fresh and tasty. Did store it in a cool dark place so it would last.

This popcorn was too chewy. Like chewing gum. When popped tasted like they mixed old kernels with fresher kernels but more old than fresh. I would not buy this again.

Our family eats a lot off popcorn. Watching movies, on game night, and sometimes for dinner. This bulk package is much better pricing than in the grocery store.

We go through Orville Redenbacher popcorn fairly quickly, so I was happy to see this 8-pound offering via Sam's club online. Popcorn stays fresh for over a year, so that was no issue. The price per pound is 24% less than the 45oz. size at Walmart.

WHAT HAPPENED?!?! Obviously Orville Redenbacher is cutting corners in their popcorn making process and it really shows!! The original yellow gourmet kernels USED to be my favorite go-to popcorn. For the past 20+ years my family and I have enjoyed popping up big, fluffy, tasty kernels that overfilled a full size cake pan. Topped with tons of butter and salt, it was mouth wateringly delicious. However, over the past year I noticed that each time I popped up a batch (the exact same way I always have) the kernels are small, dry, hard and shrivel up when butter touches them. The taste is really unpleasant too. I thought it was maybe just a bad batch so I would buy a new container of popcorn but end up with the same crappy results. It's like popping up a cheap bottom-of-the-barrel off brand but is very expensive. In total I've tried about 4 new containers of popcorn but the quality is always the same tiny, gross kernels that I just end up throwing away...before I break a tooth on them. I recently talked to some friends/family and found out they are also equally disappointed with how the quality has been lately. And after reading the low star reviews here and seeing the same canned response from the company over and over, I guess this is apparently the new normal for what used to be a high quality brand popcorn. Ugh. I'm definitely done buying Orville Redenbacher popcorn of any kind. Don't waste your money!
