I researched a number of 100 foot garden hoses in order to determine the characteristics that mattered most to me. I focused on durability, weight and quality. This hose is made of steel and my expectations therefore are high. With respect to weight. I was surprised that the steel hose was as manageable as it is. The brass end fittings, the special turn-off valve and the stainless steel segmented hose are packaged to form a very useful hose

This garden hose indeed does not kink. However, there are 3 things of concern I identified: 1. The hose diameter is thinner thhan a regular rubber hose, so is seems as if I am not getting water flow as much as I would expect. The provided screw out nozzle is difficult to operate. 2. The plastic ends of the hose look pretty brittle. I am pretty sure they will eventually crack from being exposed to heat and direct sunlight, and will break as a result. 3. The fact that the hose is metal and does not flex when you step on it, it is a slipping hazard. If you leave the hose on the flat surface of the walkway, if someone steps on it they can slip and fall. This is actually a serious matter. The only way this can be addressed by the manufacturer wrapping the hose in a protective rubber or silicone

Arrived with box in perfect condition but the actual hose was broken. The sealed bag in the box was open and hose metal was separated and you could see the inner hose. Also the info papers were stuck together at the corner. When I purchase an item as new I expect to be the first owner not get someone else’s damaged item.

An excellent garden hose, but not an indestructible as it says. I already had one that I purchased about 3 years ago... but the actual steel outside covering started winding apart, revealing a plastic hose inside that bubbled out the side under pressure. I used it with no pressure while I waited for the new one to arrive. The costs involved to try to send it away for replacement was over 1/2 the cost of a new one, so I decided not to wait and/or pursue a replacement; I really needed a hose immediately as it was during a heat wave. Although, I still agree that it is "most" of what it says it is.

Love the facts that the hose is flexible, kink-free, light weight, easy to wind up... the only drawback is due to the 1/2" size, water pressure or flow could be less. I am happy with it after used for a spring and 1/2 of summer. Hopefully it will last for long time.

Seriously, this is the best garden hose I have purchased. I have bought ‘industrial’ strength hoses guaranteed not to blow a leak but they all do. This hose is so durable and I love how lightweight it is. It has a very convenient on/off valve at the sprinkler connection which makes for quick and easy switch to other attachments.

Changing from a rubber hose to a steel hose, is an interesting transition. There is absolutely no kinking. The hose is easy to pull along, allowing me to walk easily to water all the shrubs in our planters. Its also quite easily to coil up and place on my hose hanger. Its my first hose with a built-in water shutoff. Although I use quick connectors on my attachments, it is convenient to have this as an option.

Who ever sent this to me , sent me a used one. It came in a box unwrapped, the hose was stretched out in one section. I wasn't sure if that was how it was supposed to be, so I used it it worked fine I left the water on at the faucet and overnight it sprung a leak at the stretched out part and flooded my yard. I've sensed then reported to customer service and they are processing a refund for me. Customer service guy was super nice and helpful. I'm getting a new one hopefully there won't be any problems

Was worried how low the flow would be but it's not that bad. Probably 1/3 less flow from our old hose but we will sacrifice that for the ease of this hose. Light and easy to unwind and drag. We mostly use it to refill a pool so it sits out in the sun. I was worried the metal would get hot sitting out, but so far it really hasn't gotten to hot after 1-2 hours. Fingers crossed no issues arise but so far, we'd recommend it!

I have been using this product for the last 3 or more weeks, pretty much daily, and have had no problems with it. The steel casing seems to be tough and durable. Yet, the hose is easy to pull around the garden and roll up after use. Hopefully, it lasts me a few summers.
