Ok I would just like to say that my father, who is helping me build this for my son, was a computer scientist for NASA for nearly 40 years… the directions are SO unclear that we are 3 hours into building this thing and I'm about to light it on fire! I hope it turns out okay because as it stands right now, I don't think my dad will ever help me with anything again and I'm about to just give up and leave it in pieces sprawled across my backyard. I would have gladly spent an additional $200 for an easier to assemble trampoline.

Trampoline assembly was average, springs/may have held up. Poor quality on enclosure. Do NOT buy the shade cover. If there's wind, rain, snow, or “weather”, the enclosure poles will break and poor customer service will not warranty the terrible design.

We're writing this review because of so many other complaints that we didn't see with ours. Assembly was easy if you have general assembly experience, all with the exception of the basketball hoop. The instructions were adequate and we did have instructions for the basketball hoop, others said theirs didn't. Total assembly from start to finish was 2 hrs 15 minutes, the first half was just one person and 3 people for the end. The spring puller worked well, I don't understand the other comment that it hurt their hand. Tools used were a screwdriver, a standard hammer, a rubber hammer, and a 10ft A-frame ladder to attach the basketball hoop. The basketball hoop would have been the most challenging part of the assembly without a tall ladder, you have to align holes in 2 pipes and put a screw through it at ~10-12ft off the ground. If you don't have a ladder, you could remove the netting poles again to bring it down lower for easy reach. I did need to minorly reshape 2 ends of the frame pipe with a hammer to make them slide into each other, no big problem though. Also, although one or two of the jumping mat rings were irregularly spaced, the springs stretch enough so that an inch of difference here and there isn't a problem. So that comment from others about the hole spacing confuses me, seems like it could be overcome since the springs are forgiving and stretch. Hope this helps someone else, the kids are loving it. : )

We bought this trampoline 2.5 years ago. About 1 year in we had to replace the mat because the loops that holds the springs started ripping off. We are needing a second mat now for the same reason. The poles are also cheaply made and bend and break very easily.

Great way for the kids the burn off energy while the parks are closed.
