Because I am a side sleeper and have shoulder problems, I went to local retail mattress providers to test various products. Hands down, the best mattress for me is the Stearns and Foster Lux Hybrid-firm. I love my mattress, no shoulder pain and I highly recommend this mattress. Don't let the firm mislead you, try it out. This mattress provide the perfect level of support in firmness and comfort.

Since I have Ben sleeping on this mattress, I sleep well during the night and my back pain has reduced significantly during the day. Once I ordered it, I was going crazy waiting for it to be delivered. I was doing a daily countdown! Now that it's here, it's everything we expected. So soft and supportive. Sleep is so peaceful and comfortable again. We had a S&F before our last mattress, and from now on, we will only buy S&F!

We took a break and tried another brand and after a year were having restless nights. We tried a couple of online mattresses. We knew after one night, they were not for us and we returned them. We should have stayed with what we know, the quality and comfort of Stearns and Foster. First night was a very comfortable and restful night. We actually ordered online from S&F after speaking to a representative and felt comfortable with their return policy if we weren't happy. Delivery was fast and painless, other than they showed up unexpected(third party) after they texted our land line home phone. Stick with Stearns and Foster and you won't regret it.

Finally, when we got this Stearns Foster mattress, we found our match. I read reviews each time I bought each mattress. Not sure what to say except the first two - which were also not inexpensive - were just not comfortable. They were so uncomfortable that I was roaming from one bed to the couch and back. When we got this Stearns and Foster bed, I stopped roaming and slept through the night without aching in the morning. I wish we would have bought this first, but at least I'm glad we kept looking instead of giving up. We bought this hybrid, medium mattress with the base and I don't think we'll ever buy another brand now that we've found a comfortable bed. We'll worth the cost. Five stars.

After constantly visiting the chiropractor twice a week over a year just didn't make a difference. So my last option was to break down and buy a quality matress and when I say quality I mean it, this is the last mattress I'll ever own. The best sleep I've experienced in years, I felt so rested and couldn't believe the pain relief from this mattress. Unbelievable!!! You definitely get what you pay for. Best investment I've made in a long time. I highly recommend.

If you're like me, you had enough of our 10+ year old mattress and wanted something that will last. This is the mattress. I am not a back sleeper but laying on this mattress you instantly feel comfortable and supported. Paired with the Power Base 4.0, I definitely feel like I have the ultimate in comfort.

My hips were hurting on my old mattress and I would make the loudest sounds trying to turn from the pain at times. Since I have been sleeping on my new mattress, it has just been a blessing. No pressure on my hips. So very worth the money. I give 10 stars. I recommend!

After 3 back surgeries and continuing back problems for many years, I had accepted waking every morning with back pain. And then I slept on a Stearns and Foster luxe mattress while visiting a family member . For the first time, I awoke with NO back pain. I couldn't believe it! In the end, after talking directly with a company representative, I ordered the higher reserve model, and I'm glad I did. This bed has been exceptional since it arrived. I tried other well known mattresses for years, that required special sheets, and had bulky platforms. None of them even come close to this magnificent bed. The platform is compact, and any deep pocket sheet fits perfectly. Iis expensive, but worth every penny. Given how much of our lives are spent sleeping, it is an investment in your health that is well worth making. I awake refreshed and ready for the day.
