I was NOT paid for the review but enjoyed them so much I wanted to review and give 5 stars! what makes these lights extra special is the lights in the cord itself in between each light bulb, it adds that extra special twinkle. I also appreciate the remote that has timers you can use to automatically shut them off after certain time. the remote to turn them on and off makes it easy without having to go and unplug the lights. Given the cost of this item compared to similar ones on the market I feel the value of this is more than others I've seen at this price.

Easy to hang up I used double sided tape in a few spots , durability is great , and it's also weather resistant. Energy efficient.

I haven't seen that option before and I am here for it! Secondly, the lights seem very durable and like they will withstand any weather. They add such a nice ambience to our back porch. The timer is also a really nice feature.

I love the lights in the cord as well, it makes the whole light set stand out. This is a great quality strand of lights that will last a long time due to the led bulbs! I plan on redoing my deck with this strand instead of what I had up!

Being able to control them via remote is great so I'm not constantly plugging and unplugging them. All you do is plug in and they are ready so no installation needed. Gives a great ambiance and would definitely recommend!

I’m very pleased with the way these lights look once installed even though they are simple they really complete our porch decor and turned out exactly how I invisioned them. They are 48ft long with 15 light bulb sockets. An extra LED bulb is included however the bulb type is S14 (E26 Base). They can be linked with up to 2 additional sets of lights. The top of each socket has a place for zip ties or nails making installation a breeze. There is also a remote control that allows you to power the lights on and off or set the lights on a 2, 4, 6, or 8 hour timer. It also allows you to set the lights to your desired brightness level there is also a flash mode setting. These lights are a great value for the price they are well made and appear to be very durable. I definitely plan to purchase 2 sets to go on our back patio.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are only 15 bulbs on this 48ft string but the tubing has little lights inside! They come with a remote so you don’t have to connect and disconnect the plug. The part of my yard where they are hung is usually pitch black at night, and these lights provide a lot of light. The light sets the perfect ambience and will be great for outdoor get togethers now that it’s fall. The connector piece on the end to add more lights isn’t a regular plug so the same brand would be needed if you want to make the string longer. Another thing I don’t love is the plug is bulky and doesn’t fit in our outdoor outlet covering. We were able to use an extension cord, but it made it a little inconvenient. Even still, these lights are good. We have another string that is priced more and it didn’t come with a remote. And we still had to use an extension cord for those. So I would say these Westinghouse lights are a win!

They work great. The problem is with replacement bulbs. I have tried FIVE different brands of replacement bulbs, all of them S14 with an E26 base and 1 to 3 watts. NONE of them work. My best guess is that the collar on the socket is keeping the replacement bulbs from making contact in the socket base. I called Westinghouse Customer Support. They were friendly but couldn't tell me which brand of bulb to buy.
