Bottom line: it's super comfortable, but sleeps a little hot I tried so many mattresses and even purchased a different brand mattress that felt comfortable in the store, but when I slept on it at home it hurt my hips when I slept on my side, so I returned it. Even a medium or plush mattress felt too firm. Then I tried the ProAdapt Soft and I loved it, but kept looking elsewhere since I hadn't planned to spend that much. After trying many more mattresses, I eventually made the right decision and invested in the ProAdapt Soft. It is so comfortable! I truly love it. I am mostly a side sleeper but with this mattress I don't feel any discomfort on my hips or other pressure points. I had also read that being a lighter-weight female might be why so many other beds felt too firm, because I wasn't really sinking into them. With this mattress, that is not a problem at all. The one thing I don't like about this mattress is that I started sleeping much hotter. It has gotten better as I've gotten used to it and only bothers me sometimes now. That said, if I had the money, I would probably upgrade to one of the cooling models. But I am still extremely happy with my purchase!

After a long day with my whole body hurting I go to bed and wake up in the morning feeling like I have slept for two days. Even with my 5 hour sleep nights I feel rested in the morning.

The soft mattress is great. The pillows are comfortable and the bed head and foot raising is great. My back feels a lot better in the morning. Only thing I wish I had gotten a king size vs queen. Always had a king bed but decided to downsize. It's still great.

The reason we went with a Tempur Pedic is the success we've had with our other mattress. We absolutely love this mattress! We bought our first Tempur Pedic 20 yrs ago. It served us very well! We decided to get a King and wanted to stay with a TP. My wife river dances in her sleep (restless leg) which is why we bought one years ago. We both sleep very well on this! It supports but is really comfortable, I don't feel like I sink into the mattress, & I don't feel my wife toss about. I sleep deep and hard on this mattress. There is an accusation that I have slept so deep, there was some deep rhythmic breathing occurring (snoring in laymen's terms! LOL). When it was unboxed and set up, we knew it would be hard as a brick...so don't just jump onto it! We put several blankets on it to get it to soften up a bit. The first night it was pretty hard - which we expected and were told it would be. That was the worst of it. We've had it a month now and although a firm mattress, it is softening and very comfortable. We like this better than the breeze which we slept on somewhere. I didn't feel the support of the breeze like I do with this one or our very first TP. Bottom line -- I sleep like a brick, I don't feel my wife move around, & our 75lb Golden Retriever sleeps well on it too! Remember it will take a couple of days for it to soften when first unpacked (it was VERY cold and in a warehouse when delivered)...we are sold on this mattress!

We have always had a Tempurpedic mattress and loved it. Last year we decided to invest in a new Tempurpedic mattress since ours was 20+ years old and purchased the Split King Firm Pro Adapt mattress and motion base. Worst decision ever!! The firm felt great in the showroom but once we got it home it was super hard! Decided to give it a period of time to break in but time did not help. Now we are stuck with this horrible mattress and new back and shoulder pain. Don't waste your money!!

So my ultimate heaven of a mattress has had a long back story. I started with the cloud - and I liked it ok (definitely is soft) but it was not supportive enough (I have back pain). I returned it online and then bought the Adapt Medium Hybrid from their Tysons Virginia store. It was excruciating to deal with their online support people and when the delivery company finally came (after a lot of back and forth with Tempur customer service) the company told me they have no documentation about needing to pick up the old mattress (after my confirming with the Tempur multiple times) but they were willing to take it away - after giving them an extra $40 on the side! So - the adapt hybrid helped my back but my shoulder started hurting, I wasn't wild about the bounce, but I would have kept it if it wasn't causing pain- I had it for a couple of weeks tried a topper (helped my shoulder but then my back would hurt). Because I had done a return to online and purchase in store, and my family knew of the bed difficulties, I was offered the additional money as a birthday present and bought the Pro-adapt Medium (which felt perfect when I tried it in the store). I started reading these reviews only after ordering and was terrified it would be too hard given all the reviews. But - it came at last yesterday, at first it was ok but a little firm (and very cold) - I sped up the softening by adding an electric blanket for a few hours. And I have to say this bed is THE BOMB. I'm on a tight budget, and I really think Sealy could easily perform some obvious belt tightening (their processes are necessarily cumbersome, outmoded and there seem to be countless people employed who are rather unhelpful (honestly clueless and useless and I don't say this lightly). But after all the frustration, and the insane amount of money they charge (plus the 2xs paying their obnoxious $175) I can say the Pro-Adapt Medium is worth it - it is truly a doughy oasis - no pain at all - perfect softness and yumminess, but also supportive.

I was looking to invest in a very good quality mattress and after spending many days researching and reading reviews and then several hours in stores laying on and trying out different mattresses, it ultimately came down to this model vs a traditional custom made mattress. Both were close to the same price point and ultimately I chose the Tempur Pro Adapt Hybrid. I love this bed for the fact that I no longer wake up with neck or back pain, and it is VERY comfortable, however the trade off is that I wake up drenched. Even though this was touted has having cooling properties, I did not find this to work for me. So if you are prone to sleeping on the warm/hot side, this is something to keep in mind.

We owned a Tempur-Pedic Rhapsody mattress for many years. We were waking up many times thru the night, as our body was hurting. With our new Pro Adapt soft, we are sleeping thru the night and waking up feeling rested. The mattress is firm enough to be supportive, but soft enough to keep our shoulders and hips cradled. I know there are a lot of copy cat memory foam mattresses, but I am a loyal Tempur-Pedic customer. These mattresses hold up the way cheaper mattresses cannot. The only problem is that I can't wait to get back into bed after my day!

I have a really bad back and have spent lots of money trying to find products that will help me sleep comfortably. I purchased the mattress about a month ago and I sleep through the night and wake up pain free. This mattress has been a life saver for me. Definitely worth the price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are on night 4 with this bed and are loving it. We exchanged a purple 4 for this and it's flap much better. My wife and I both toss and turn significantly less because the memory foam just cradles. My low back, and hip pain from the purple mattress has disappeared, and my shoulders also don't hurt. Very pleased so far!
