Don't know how they do it! When I slapped my hand on the bed, it felt close that of a "redgit board". Then, when you lay down on the mattress, it like sinking into a cloud (Just an analogy as I have never slept on a cloud - full disclosure here). The mattress simply adjusts to your entire body and gives you the most comfortable sleep ever. I guess the secret formula will never bare its sole.

I have gone through 4 mattresses in 4 years. They were either poorly built, too soft or too firm causing back aches or sore presser points. I have both hips replaced and one knee. I purchased the Tempur-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid about 7 weeks ago. This mattress is awesome! It is supportive without being hard. You feel yourself being cuddled without sinking into it. It is easy to move around in. I normally sleep hot but with their cooling technology I'm cool and comfortable all night. It used to take me quite a while to fall asleep, Not now, I fall asleep right away. I used to toss and turn through the night, now I can fall asleep and stay asleep for the entire night waking up in the same position. I'm both a side and back sleeper and this mattress is great in either position. I can't say enough about this mattress. It cost more than my other mattresses but it is well worth it. I just wish I had gotten it sooner. I look forward to going to bed and sometimes go to bed early because it is so comfortable. I have the adjustable frame which makes it even more awesome. Thank you tempur pedic for the perfect bed for me.

We owned the Rhaspody for under 10 years. We noticed it sagging and uncomfortable and waking up with a backache. Called Tempurpedic exlpained our situation and they replaced our bed with the ProAdapt hybrid what a nice bed we love it we have only had it a week first night slept like a baby Thank You Tempurpedic.

I looked at a lot of mattresses prior to purchasing this one. At first I was a little put off by the price of this mattress but after sleeping on it for the past few weeks I guarantee it's money well-spent. I'm in my early sixties and began to wake up very sore every morning on my old mattress. After two weeks of sleeping on this mattress my sore back and achy joints are gone This mattress relieves pressure points while still giving you good back support. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to wake up with a body ache, painful shoulder, not well rested and tired before using tempur pedic firm mattress. When the tenpur pedic mattress arrived, I was skeptical initially because it says firm because when I lay down on it, the mattress slightly conforms to my body. After a week of using it, I wake up everyday without bodyaches!!! My shoulder pain from sleeping on my sides are gone! I wake up fresh and well rested! There's a cooling effect on top of the mattress as well that will definitely help during summer season. I've finally found the mattress that my body loves sleeping on!

This is by far the best bed I did ever bad. I normally have back issues that keep me from sleeping through the night but that is quickly becoming a thing of the past now. I'm also taking more naps during my days off. This mattress is awesome. It definitely did take about two weeks to fully break in, as it was extremely firm at first.

Bought this mattress with hopes of eliminating pain in my hips and my back. All it has done it made worse. I also wake up with numbness in my tailbone area and my entire back hurts. Cannot get comfortable and am unable to sleep for more than a few hours at a time on it. Also the mattress retains way too much heat regardless of room temperature. Will not be buying another Tempur pedic mattress and frankly can't wait to get rid of this one and find a different brand.

We purchased the mattress and Ergo 3.0 base about a month ago (9/23). We are hoping the mattress does get softer. Once you put a pad and fitted sheet on the mattress it isn't as soft or conforms to your body. The Tempur Pedic cotton sheets do not stretch as advertised - would not recommended. The base does have some flaws - there are bright lights under the bed that do not go out, so we had to cover them up. Also the remote does not stay lit very long in the dark. Overall, we are pleased with both.

Purchased recently and now am concerned about it containing truly toxic materials...having hard time getting clarity. Does not seem to have any environmental certifications. I assumed being a top name it would be fine, but now the more I look into it the worse it sounds....

Our TEMPUR-ProAdapt mattress has been a game-changer in terms of sleep quality. The mattress has seemed to get more and more comfortable after each night of sleep, and I'm sleeping better than I have in months. I had been having hip soreness from my previous bed and those aches have been entirely relieved by this bed. I'm not one to sleep in, but this mattress is so comfortable that I have found myself sleeping longer than I had in my previous mattress. The only slight negative is that it does feel slightly warmer than my previous one, but it's so comfortable that I've already adjusted to that aspect. I absolutely would recommend this mattress to those looking for a premium upgrade.
