I owned the original for 15 years and loved it. I searched and tried the entire TP line to get the model that was closest to what I knew and landed on the Pro Adapt. Started with the medium and it became much too soft. Serious back pain in the morning. I then exchanged for a firm, which also just doesn't work for me because it seems to be equal parts squish and firm, which doesn't sync up with my brain. Every night I get into bed and wonder why it isn't more firm, or slightly more soft. It's a curious and uncomfortable mix of both. BE AWARE you can only make a return/exchange once. This second attempt left me with a very expensive bed that I can't return or change - it would be great if they changed this policy ☹️

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On my new firm tempurpedic mattress I've had he best sleep I've had in years. I sleep through the night, and feel supported at every point. It's been especially helpful because of a recent back injury. I can't think of any drawbacks honestly. It's expensive, but good sleep is worth it. We spend 1/3 of our lives sleeping, so it's worth the investment in yourself. I wake up more refreshed and energized than i have in years of sleeping on my old mattress.

Absolutely NOT for senior citizens, extremely difficult to change the sheets since this mattress is very heavy (queen size). I regret immensely buying it but after spending over $3000 I am stuck for life. 1st time putting a sheet on by trying to lift one side, something snapped in my shoulder & I have not recovered yet from this injury. I wish I could return it & recoup some of my money but I know it's not possible so unfortunately for me, I'll have to straggle with it for the rest of my life (I'm in my late 70's). Sorry Tempur-Pedic, I DO NOT RECOMMEND your mattress, this model or any other Tempur-Pedic model as well especially for older adults. For many years I had Sleep Number bed in king size (2 X twin) but after my husband passing, I moved & downsized so I bought this queen size mattress. I wish I could go back to the Sleep Number mattress & get rid of the Tempur-Pedic one but I can't afford to do just that.

I have had the new mattress, pillows and sheets now for about 30 days. So far I like it a lot, almost love but too soon to give it that. Humans spend a lot of time in bed and I have went with the cheap mattresses for over 50 years and almost got a sleep number bed, but after talking to people that have them, I realized that Tempur will be the better investment. I recommend to buy new sheets and pillows with a new mattress. AND get the mattress protector if you have pets that get on the bed (allowed or not) and kids, night #5 my dog tested it and boy was I feeling like a smart man. you will be the first to know if this bed doesn't hold up to the name. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are so many bogus horrible product on the market that when you find something that is truly amazing, when you have a product that works so well you want to scream from the mountain tops and tell everybody about it which is what I've done over the past 10 years . It's simply the greatest mattress that God ever created. Please please please listen, don't even think about getting a mattress with springs go to any mattress store and tried Tempur-pedic I guarantee you you'll fall in love with it.

I'm a light (110 lbs) side sleeper with mild lower back pain. Initially I bought the classic medium thinking it would be the best fit for my needs, however within a few weeks it felt like it was sinking so I exchanged it for the Pro Adopt Firm. At first I thought I made a huge mistake because it felt like I was sleeping on a board and gave me shoulder pain but after 3 months it is a dream!! I was worried it would continue to bother my shoulders but now I don't have any pain with all the comfort of a firm mattress. If you like a firm mattress and have lower back pain this is for you but you must give it the full 90 days to adapt to your body. It's a firm cloud that will last!

We owned the Rhaspody for under 10 years. We noticed it sagging and uncomfortable and waking up with a backache. Called Tempurpedic exlpained our situation and they replaced our bed with the ProAdapt hybrid what a nice bed we love it we have only had it a week first night slept like a baby Thank You Tempurpedic.

While shopping for a new mattress my wife, whom I let guide the tour, settled on this mattress. My first thoughts were that her intent were to first torture and slowly kill me. This mattress is firm ! As I laid upon the "Rock" for the first night I discovered this felt great. The support, comfort and yes the firmness combined to provide what I had been missing all these years. I know longer had to climb out of a hole to change positions and I did not wake up in the middle of the night all sweaty from body heat. Now, did my wife ever say "I told you so" -- Yup she sure has !!! Love her and the mattress.

There is no other bed that is as comfortable as my Tempurpedic. This mattress supports my body all over and creates no painful pressure points or uncomfortable body alignments. I've always had trouble getting quality sleep, but since getting this mattress that's changed. I now find that I feel much more rested upon waking. I've had my mattress since Dec. 2018 and I can honestly say it's the best investment of my money. My mother loved it so much she bought one.
