Many of the mattresses we tried either seemed like they'd sag in the middle eventually or felt hard as a rock. This mattress had the balance we were looking for as side sleepers. As with any mattress, expect it to be a little on the firmer side until it's broken in. Ours has been steadily softening towards how it felt when we tested it in the store.

Not only is this the most beautifully designed mattress, but it is also some of the best nights sleep I have ever had. I love the comfort of a pillowtop mattress, but I needed more support for my back. With this Medium support pillowtop mattress I can now have both. The pillowtop contoured to my body giving me the best comfort and the support was not too firm and not too soft. It was perfect. I can wake up and not have soreness in my back and that is huge for me. The mattress has a ventilated cooling system that helps to keep your mattress cool all night long. The coils have responsive innerspring technology that prevents noticeable movement from your partner so you can have a more uninterrupted sleep. My husband does toss and turn in his sleep and I didn't notice his movements at all while sleeping on this mattress. I was able to get a good nights sleep and woke up feeling refreshed and ready to go. I haven't felt this well rested in years. I am very happy with this mattress and I would definitely recommend it to all my family and friends.

I first used this mattress at my sons home and had the best nights sleep ever. Came home and purshased the twin size and couldn't be more pleased. No more waking up in the night with hot flashes. As soon as I tried this mattress at the store, I knew it was the one I was going to get. I am a big fan of this mattress. It is medium, so there is a liitle give in it, but it is also offers good support. I fall into this mattress and it feels so comfortable. I am sleeping better and longer with this mattress.

The mattress feels so luxurious compared to other mattresses I've had in the past. The outer material feels thick and substantial and this mattress is COMFORTABLE! Even though it is not billed as a pillow top mattress, it has the cushy feel of a pillow top. It is very supportive for a medium mattress while still having a cozy feel to it. One thing that was really important to me was the mattress be very breathable. My husband tends to sleep very hot, so the wrong mattress can exacerbate that problem. Luckily this mattress sleeps very cool, and that's from our experience sleeping on it in the middle of July. This mattress is also great for couples as you aren't going to be jostled around when your partner moves. I can't even feel it when my husband rolls over in the night. Overall, we love our new mattress.

It gives me best sleep with no complaints. It's a thicker mattress. It feels that it contours your body giving required support to the sides you choose to sleep. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been needing a new mattress for a while now and after trying multiple mattresses and price points, we decided to go with the Stearns and Foster Studio Firm Tight Top. This mattress is sooooooooo comfortable, plush but not to soft. We enjoy the firm tight top due to slight back problems. The mattress is a beautiful dark blue in color and it's a little higher (with the box springs) than we're used to. I feel like a Queen laying on top of this mattress and whether I'm sleeping or sitting up relaxing, my back pain hasn't been an issue. I'm looking forward to many, many good night sleeps on my new Stearns & Foster mattress.

We compared & contrasted numerous bedding options, & are thoroughly delighted we went with this Stearns & Foster Studio Collection Medium Tight-Top mattress along with an adjustable S & F platform. We did not have a clue how bad our old mattress & box spring was for our health! My husband, with sleep apnea, is finally getting good solid nights' of rest. I also am feeling much more rested. For those who don't find memory gel mattresses comfortable, like us, you'll love this mattress!
