We bought three of these a year ago when our son started preschool. We have found it a perfect way to pack his lunch every day. The separate sections are a fun way to present his lunch, and we don’t have to worry about using ziploc bags or other disposables to pack his snacks. Our 3 year old finds it easy to open and eat from on his own.

I have three kids, 2,4,6 so one in elementary and two in day care. I use these every other day and the other bentgo alternating days. They’re great for sandwiches (half or whole), English muffin pizzas, wraps, and if you have cupcake liners (silicone or disposable) you can use them to separate into smaller sections for DIY lunchables. I say 4 stars because some days I like the removable divider and then other days I don’t. Plus my youngest wasn’t paying attention and threw it away one day. It holds more than enough food to fill up the kids. You can fit an applesauce pouch in the big compartment. I usually meal prep on the weekends and pack 2 days worth of lunches for the kids. The food is still fresh on Tuesday when I pack on Sunday. Great option for those who don’t want to deal with Tupperware and containers being sent to school and don’t want to waste money and kill the planet with baggies.

The different sections are great. I really like my food separated. The sections are nice sizes. I have been able to always fit what I want to put in it without a problem. I love the color as well. Nice and sturdy doesn't feel flimsy. I enjoy taking my lunches in it. It's really easy to just carry. Food always stays in sections never had an issue. Overall great product.

I want to give this 5 stars because customer service is amazing, but the hinges on my Fresh lunch box have broken twice. I only put the inside in the dishwasher and I am not rough with it, but somehow the plastic pins that hold the hinges on all of our Bentgo containers have had issues breaking. I wish they would use a metal pin that goes into the plastic, which would hold up so much better. I also love that clips close easily. Sometimes I have to wiggle the tray to get it to seat correctly, but once clipped it seals tight. With the broken hinges, I am using rubber bands to keep it closed because don't want to try another one and keep adding to our graveyard of exteriors.

I think my review is best as a list of pros and cons, so here you go! Pros – Great for car rides A full sandwich cut in half fits and there’s 3 more compartments to fill. I’m not continually looking for a bunch of parts and pieces to make it all put together Seals up nicely Came with an e-book that has lunch ideas Super easy to clean The smaller compartments are still pretty big for fruit Cons – A handle would be really nice No room for ice pack inside the box (that I can figure out atleast) The cover can not be put in the dishwasher along with the tray, but is still easily cleaned in the sink.

So we’ve used this bentgo fresh for 1.5 years and love it! Someone it got cracked on the back and customer service was fantastic and had a new one shipped out to me the day after I wrote to them. The 2 year warranty is great! We’ve always had wonderful customer service and my boys both love their boxes. They are easy for kids to open, which a lot of bento boxes are not. And they keep everything separate with room for all the lunch components! Perfect size.

There is plenty of room for big enough portions that you won't feel hungry after finishing what you packed. I also really like the lids with the locks on them to insure they do not spill.

I love our Bentgo boxes! I have 5 so that I can use one for every day of lunch. And my son loves to put stickers on them! They are fun, bright colors and they are so sturdy and easy for him to open! This is my 5th purchase of the bentgo fresh lunch box. We still have all 5 and they are in great shape! We love they they don't leak and are easy to clean. Perfect for traveling with food for my kid with food allergies and for camps and school lunches.

We started with a Bentgo Kids when my son was in preschool, and we've finally upgraded to the Bentgo Fresh and the Bentgo Pop now that he needs larger portions. We also have a Bentgo Snack! All are used every weekday and are still going strong! No leaks, easy to clean (hand wash outer, dishwasher for inner tray), and make lunches so much easier for everyone. Bentgo design is what really stands out - they are just better!
