When my wife and I found out that we were expecting my mind went directly to how much the diapers were going to cost., since we all know that they go though a ton of them. We set money to the side each week to buy diapers to get a head start. The first set of diapers that we got was the Luvs. They worked the best and were great; our baby girl loved them (she run though the pack quickly). However, after a few times of buying diapers we begin to look at the price of diapers. We found that the Luvs diapers were $3 more expensive then the other name brands. We felt like with the amount of diapers that she will go though it would be more cost effective to buy one of the other name brands even though we all liked the Luvs the most.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super diaper if you ask me, we used to use huggies snug and dry but lately my son kept leaking overnight I'm sure it wasn't the diaper changing but more so him peeing more it was still upsetting that the diaper couldn't hold up and I really thought that because of the price I pay for them there couldn't be any better brands out there as far as leaking I would get the same from all...until i met luvs. They are literally half the price and hold up so well over night even though they are not an overnight diaper. At first i was afraid of a reaction because of my sons sensitive skin but I'm so glad i switched he did so well with them and I'm obviously a happy momma not having to wash his sheets every single day. I do think they do not have as much stretch around the waist as his old diapers but the leak protection is so much more important for us.

I have used Luvs since my Daughter was newborn & now this new design is horrible! The diaper is coming apart by the waistband & the gel beads are everywhere inside her pj's. I have had to bathe her every morning for the last 3 days. I just moved her up to a size 5 diaper so I know she is in the correct size. This is unacceptable! I understand leaking is bound to happen with any brand, but such poor quality to where the diaper falls apart is ridiculous! I am very disappointed. I am going to have to switch her diapers!

As a Nana and raising my 14 month old I will say not much has changed as far as MONEY goes times are still pretty much tight around here for us 3, Emerald, myself and my husband. Raising our Grand Baby was not a planned event so I am always looking for ways to save a few dollars and I can say I have tried almost every diaper out there on the market, and I always go back to Luvs I have never experienced a Leak problem and trust me Emerald the baby does all her diaper wetting at night for some reason and I can proudly say Luvs Diaper has not failed me yet. I can always count on Luvs to be (I hate to use this word) but I can trust Luvs to be the Cheapest but the best diaper out there. If it were not for Luvs keeping it real we would be in little bit of trouble here, everything is going up but the one thing that stays the same is LUVS!! Thank You Luvs for keeping it REAL!! Laura

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 2-year old toddler is potty-trained and we use Luvs Diapers at night only since he can't still control his bladder while asleep. We're glad we got size 7 so it would be bigger for him and hopefully contain all the water he drinks prior to sleeping and not leak the morning after. Well, it worked. While the diaper itself is a bit thinner than the others, it's still effective and so far, didn't cause rashes on his sensitive skin.

I used my first one today. I thought they felt really thin and was slightly nervous, but thought luv is a major brand, surely it will be OK. Nope! Newborn had a bowel movement all over his back (and it was by no means a blowout.). Hopefully Sam’s club will return. Complete waste of money.

I had tried other diapers at a lower price than Pampers but was always disappointed. I finally tried Luvs and I am so glad I did! That's the only diaper I buy now. They work as well stopping leaks as any diaper out there and the price is much more competitive!

Ten years ago I used every brand of diaper out there, and finally chose to stick with Luvs for my son, as they seemed to be the only diapers he didn't leak through. It's been almost eight years since we've had diapers around the house, so when my daughter was born last month, I once again tried every brand of diaper. I was sure that Luvs would have changed, and that because I favored them with my son, they wouldn't work for my daughter, since boys and girls leak in different places. I was WRONG! Luvs has once again beat out Huggies, Pampers and Parent's Choice! They NEVER leak, EVER! So not only do Luvs hold better, but they're easier on our pockets as well! How can you go wrong there?

My son will be 4 at the end of March. When he was born we used pampers because it is what they used in the hospital. For about the first 2 months they were o.k. Then my friend told me about Luvs, when I used them I was shocked because of how well they worked and I could use only 2 diapers a night and my son would sleep through the night for me. Back then Luvs didn't streach and that was the only thing I did not like about them. However, when he was about 7 months old, Luvs made their new diapers and now they stretched. It was great. Now with my daughter who is 7 weeks old we have tried all kinds of diapers, pampers do not hold anything anymore....huggies make indents in her legs as do parents choise and fisher price. LUVS has been the only diaper that I have found for her that hold, do not leak and they do not leave marks on her legs. I love LUVS and will not use anything else.

heloo ever since our son was born we did try the store brands didn't hold up so when we started using luvs great but the new brand we are gonna see about the store brand or pampers it drups as soon as you use oen waste of money what were you thinking change back
