Heavy duty mops

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Swiffer and these heavy duty mops come in handy always. I have a messy toddler and with the Swiffer I can clean the house very easily. They absorb water or any dirt easily

Easy floor cleaning

These are go to wipes for our house. One swipe and the floor is perfectly clean. Amazing clean fresh scent. The wipes can do the entire house. Easy on and off the mop. Very fast and easy. Uses clean fresh ingredients.

Too strong sent

The lavender smell is awful. It spread all over the room and was unpleasant. No matter how many times I wiped it with water it didn't come off, so it just added extra work.

Bring Back The Original Swiffer Wet Cloth Refills!

The heavy duty ones are horrible to use. No matter how you put them on, them slip around on the handle. The original ones were much better! Sam's needs to go back to the original wet cloth refills.

We're sorry to learn you had this difficulty, Lee, as we only want to help you get the best results from your Swiffer Sweeper Heavy Duty Wet Cloth Refills, with Lavender scent. It may help to know some floor surfaces may create more pressure on the cloth when mopping, causing it to release from the grippers. If this happens, try turning the cloth over and use the plain white side to clean your floor to get the improved performance of our Heavy Duty Wet cloths. When you do this, make sure the green strip is around the edge of the mop, not on the floor while mopping. This should ensure there is enough material to tuck into the grippers. Want more help? We're here, at our phones, waiting to chat. Our number is 1 (800) 214-8734. Give us a call any Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM, EST.

Great Swipes!

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I really like these heavy duty cloths. They are wet without dripping but enough to work longer than a few swipes. The scent is nice too, it has a calm smell that isn't chemically.

Wet Cloth Will Not Stay On the Mop

Cleans really well. Just wish they would they on the mop! I use them to wipe down the floor but have to physically get on my knees to do so. Would not buy again .

reply from The Swiffer Team

We're sorry to hear that you're having this experience, since we always want you to be able to enjoy an easy clean with our products. We'd be happy to share some tips so that the Wet cloths stay attached while you're mopping. We suggest making sure that the green strip on the cloths is around the Sweeper head, and not on the floor, as this will ensure that there's enough material to tuck into the grippers. As well, use both hands while mopping. One hand should be placed on the top of the Sweeper, and the other should be about halfway down. This allows you to put more downward pressure on the Sweeper head to help keep it flat during use. We hope this helps, and please give us a call at (800) 214-8734 if you'd like further assistance with this.
