Item does not come assembled even partially. I have not even tried to put it together yet , probably 2 hours work. Should have this noted in sales info. I could have purchased American General unit similar for $30 less completely assembled but the handles. Materials thin like older craftsmen tool boxes not the quality I imagined.

Outstanding quality. Time consuming to assemble, but alignment of parts and bolt holes is top notch. Instructions are easy to follow. When you take your time to assemble, you will have an amazing cabinet which is sturdy, high quality, and fantastic looking. This is my second set of these - and they are fabulous.

Takes 4 to 6 hours to assemble, but well worth the effort. Very sturdy, very nice wood top, very useful amount of storage space for tools, materials, etc. Only four stars because the "keep-closed" catches for the drawer slides could be a lot better...if they were metal leaf-spring detents rather than rubbery plastic inserts. As-is, the drawers are a bit "sticky" to open and have to be slammed to fully close, which displaces the tools to the back of the drawers.

This was a great Father's day purchase. My husband and I put it together in about 45 minutes. The holes all lined up and they even threw in a magnetic phillips screw driver. The package was well protected with plastic and Styrofoam. I also purchased the stool and peg board set up. I think you could put it together by yourself but we really enjoyed doing it together and it made it quick work. This does not take a lot of savvy but I'm not sure why you'd be buying a tool chest if you weren't a bit of a craftsman.

Overall a good solid tool chest for home garage use. Easy to assemble in an afternoon. While there are a lot of parts, I laid them out in order and assembled this cabinet myself over the course of an afternoon. I used my drill for many screws, but the included magnetic screwdriver was great for those hard to get at locations. All drawers need to be assembled, but it's not that tough and the cost savings over a pre-assembled tool chest is significant.

Bought this to help bring some order to my spacious front coat closet, and it's exactly what I've been looking for! As many of the reviews already state, assembly is on the tedious side -- so many screws -- but it all comes together smoothly. Parts are well-constructed and fit together very well, and the finished product is very sturdy.

I had made some changes to my garage recently and needed to rethink some of the storage options. I had been looking for a setup like this for awhile, and after reading some positive reviews about the quality of the product, I went for it. It was a bit of work to get it all assembled, but, nothing overly complicated. Very happy so far with the quality of the product and the way its looks in my garage workspace.

Quality product, well packaged and easy to follow instructions. Comes complete with even drawer liners.

Great cabinet could be used in a shop or for the kitchen. It’s very sturdy with easy slide drawers. Great quality for the price point.

Perfect! It arrived early. The instructions were clear, and it's perfect for my shop. I ordered two and fit under my bench.
