Just what I needed. I like that it is adjustable %26 that lighted keyboard comes in handy for late-night surfing. Sturdy and well worth the money

I have not even used it as it is too cumbersome. It seems to have been a waste of money for me since I am retired and can't go anywhere but home to use it. I don't need the keyboard at home as I have my Big Mac with the keyboard.

I recently purchased an Apple iPad Air 11-inch M2 and, naturally, wanted a case to protect it. After doing extensive research, I was drawn to the Apple Magic Keyboard. While I was hesitant to spend $300 on a keyboard case, the alternatives in the $100-$200 range didn't seem to measure up in terms of quality. When I saw the Magic Keyboard on sale for $224, I decided to give it a try. Here's my honest review. Pros: As expected with Apple, the unboxing experience was excellent. The case itself has a sleek, premium design that feels like high-quality leather on the exterior. The keyboard keys are backlit, making it easy to use in low-light conditions, and the magnetic attachment for the iPad is impressively strong—you won't have to worry about it falling off. The pass-through charging feature is also convenient. Cons: This is marketed as a keyboard case, but it falls short as a functional everyday case. If you're not using the keyboard or need to use your iPad in vertical mode, this design is impractical. The rigid hinge only allows for horizontal use, and there's no flexibility to rotate or detach the keyboard for easier handling. I've seen cases that allow the iPad to rotate 180 degrees or detach completely, which would've made this much more versatile. Additionally, the keys feel cheaply made and don't match the premium expectations set by the price tag. Ultimately, I returned it because, at $300, the design feels poorly thought out. It's surprising that so many people at Apple approved this product. I've since purchased a case from Amazon for $120 that allows the iPad to rotate 180 degrees, giving me the versatility I was looking for. It's a far better option for everyday use, and I can't recommend the Magic Keyboard unless you're absolutely set on the Apple brand.
