My wife has rheumatiod arthritis. She had been complaining lately that the airbed we'd owned for 19 years was not working for her anymore. We tried out the ProAdapt mattresses and she wanted the soft, while I opted for the medium on a split king with adustable bases. After only one night she said, "I wish we hadn't bought these matteresses." I looked at her with a frown. She continued, "I don't want to get out of bed now." I've had sinus problems all my life. I have found that by elevating the head just a few degrees my nose does not stop up during the night. I can now sleep uninterrupted the entire night.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TEMPUR-ProAdapt Firm Mattress is AMAZING!! It is so soft and cushiony yet firm at the same time!! The mattress is definitely made of some heavy duty material. I love how it conforms to my body and just basically holds me in place! After sleeping on this bed for about a week, I have noticed a significant difference in how much I wake up in the middle of the night! At first, my back kind of hurt because I stayed in one spot all night, so I felt stiff... but the more I use it, my body is getting used to it! I also love how it has a removable and washable cover on it! This mattress is absolutely wonderful! I'd completely recommend it to anyone considering it!!

This mattress seemed fantastic in the store and not at all too firm. First night it was extremely firm(hard). Have been sleeping on it three weeks and it is still extremely hard. Wake up with sore back, ribs, hips and shoulders. I would not recommend. Plan to return it after the 30 days. In the meantime cannot last more than an hour on this bed before moving to another room.

Sleep Quality improve by more than a 50 % and in combination with the massages and positions of your Tempur Base, and my Tempur Pillows; the bedroom is again my favorite house spot!!! Bought this to replace my son's bed and he loves it. He sleeps better and says it is very comfortable. We did get an adjustable base, and he really likes to zero gravity feature. Sometimes he has to lay flat though if he is moving around a lot, the zero gravity prevents his turning over all the way.

Sleep mode is incredibly comfortable, especially combined with the tempurpedic pillow. This is a bed we use as a relaxation escape from everyday stress. It is truly wonderful. Highly recommend. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly can't say enough good things about our ProAdapt Firm mattress. My husband and I waited ten years to purchase a good mattress (we were so confused by the number of choices and the prices). We went to a local furniture/appliance store in Greenville, SC and the sales person was so knowledgeable that we knew instantly what would work. Although it is firm, there are times when we are deep in sleep and don't want to leave the bed at our alarm. There are mornings when I have the feeling that I've been in the most amazing cocoon, and the best part is my back doesn't hurt in the morning either (unlike our old mattress). Thank you Temperpedic for making this mattress. Even our parents visiting during Thanksgiving asked us what in the world they were sleeping on the next morning--they'd never had such comfortable sleep. I bragged about this bed to them and hope they'll get one too.

Fought spending the money for a bed for years. Disabled Military veteran with severe spinal problems made it something my wife insisted we go for, and I am SO glad we did. OMG, SO WORTH IT!!! I haven't slept this well for YEARS... I am lucky to have her beside me and taking such good care of me to insist on this bed, and grateful that such a quality product exists. If you are in the fence, don't delay a moment longer. It is WORTH it.

Love the idea of this mattress but unfortunately I wake up every morning extremely stiff and in pain. When initially looking at mattresses and talking with a sales person, we were recommended the soft mattress due to being a side sleeper/ back sleeper at times. Really wish we didn't take the advice of our sales person & got a firmer mattress. My sleep has been awful since & overall quality of life has declined. And unfortunately are stuck with a mattress that we don't enjoy.
