[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never knew a mattress could hug you back, that it could embrace you the way tempur pedic proadapt does and make you feel like you are essentialy floating, weightless and releived of any and all pressure points. This bed has change my sleep quality and set a new standard for what a mattress should feel like. I am very happy with my purchase and tempur pedic has earned one more loyal cutomer for many years to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the Tempur - Pro Adapt mattress & Ergo Power Base a little over a month ago. I have back issues - no more sleepless nights! Sleeping like a baby with slight elevation at both ends. I was concerned the mattress would be too firm. Sure glad we purchased firm as it works for my wife and my self. Should have gone this route years ago.

The mattress arrived on time and the delivery people were great! Unfortunately the mattress was too hard for my husband's liking. I contacted Tempur- Pedic after trying to "break" the mattress in for 30 days. They were very helpful selecting replacement mattress. Somewhere along the way wires got crossed and my order failed. I was able to get a customer support rep that seems to have taken care of the problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the ProAdapt Medium Hybrid because I wanted the increased support on the edge and that is good, pretty much what I expected. I was hoping for more of the actual tempur experience in the rest of the bed but it's just not thick enough to provide that. As a result, I frequently get up in the morning with some minor pain in my shoulder and hip. I'm a side sleeper. The pain dissipates after I've been up for a while, so it's bearable. I might have purchased the next grade up in the mattress, but it was out of my price range, especially due to the fact that I bought the EASE Power Base at the same time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not so firm as expected around the perimeter as I'm constantly sliding off in the sitting position and it makes me feel very nervous when I'm lying down as I feel like I'm going to fall out of bed. I usually sleep close to the edge of the bed but I've had to sleep about a foot away from the edge to avoid falling about 4 or 5 feet through nightstands to the floor. I've contacted customer service and only got a request for pictures. Pictures of myself falling off the bed? Really? Not satisfied at all at this time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress is growing on me. The first night, I woke up with a hip ache from sleeping on my side. We've had this king size mattress for about a month now, and it's getting more comfortable as time passes and we break it in. I prefer a plush-type mattress and this is what me and my partner settled on for the both of us. I have sleep issues such as insomnia, tossing and turning, waking up frequently, back problems, etc. I can't say that this mattress has improved any of the issues I have that much. My back does feel a bit better compared to my last mattress. The mattress is comfortable when you are laying down. My partner really likes it, but he doesn't really have any sleep issues. Honestly, I'm not as impressed as I thought I'd be with all the hype that Tempur-Pedic mattresses get. But I do think this is probably a great fit for some people out there. Just not sure if I'm that person since it's only been a month of sleeping on it. All in all, I do think I would recommend this to the right person. It is a nice mattress. But like I said, just not sure if it's for me, yet.

The bed has been amazing and helped relieve the pain I was experiencing when combined with pt. I tried different mattresses at a store before I purchased this one.

The mattress is outstanding. I have a bad back and this mattress help alleviate some of the pain. Only had it for a week and hoping it helps me with the pain. I would definitely recommend trying this mattress for anyone that has back and hip issues like I do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i got this mattress because it was 'firm' and it is firm in the middle when i'm on it. however, the edges are not firm, and since i sit on the edge to get into my wheelchair, that's a problem. And i lean on it when i get into the bed, which makes the mattress move; that's not so bad because i can fix it easily when i'm off it. if a person with some disability is considering getting it, be sure to check the height; none of the 3" increments made it work for me, so my daughter got some things from the hardware and added them to two of the 3" leg parts, and now it's good.

Went on vacation for two weeks, pain came back. Got home back to my bed and it's gone. Not coincidental. Love this, wish I would have gotten it sooner.
