We've been sleeping on our new Pro Adapt Medium Hybrid for about a month now and can truly say we are enjoying our bed for once. It's nice to get up in the morning without a aching lower back or being able to sleep on your side without any pain in your shoulders. We are just hoping it will last and we can be pain free for many years to come. It's an expensive setup with the motorized frame but so far well worth it.

Went shopping for a new mattress for me and my wife both have back issues. Sleep outfitters was our last stop. From the moment we walked in the door untill the moment we left.

I've been sleeping on my Tempur-ProAdapt soft for a month now and I love it! I decided on the soft because I am a petite 110lbs and figured I would not get the true cushy benefit on a medium or firm. So far it is perfect and I noticed right away the first night that when I get into position I stay there almost all night! I used to toss and turn and always had shoulder pain and hip pain. My back feels great when I wake so even though it's soft it's supportive. Had a frozen shoulder in the past from bad position sleeping on a regular mattress. Decided to splurge on this bed to benefit my health. I also purchased the adjustable base to complete the experience! Only downside was strong chemical odor from the mattress for the first few weeks. I stripped the bed everyday and opened the window to allow it to air out. Now today 4 weeks later it is very minimal, I'm sure it will dissipate completely soon.

I had a 20+ year old mattress and really needed a new one because I was having problems with my back. I have been on the road to wellness and getting a new mattress was part of that process. The first 2 weeks of having the new mattress, my hips were stiff but now that it was been almost a month, I have adjusted! I sleep great and seriously, hard to get up in the morning because it is so comfortable. Pricey but in the long run, worth it!

Slept on our new mattress (ProAdapt 2.0 Hybrid Med.) for a couple of weeks now and am very happy. I'm not waking up with a backache or neck pain. My boyfriend's shoulder isn't hurting when he wakes up. The best part is I'm not falling into a hole anymore. My boyfriend weighs much more than I do and I always had to climb out of the whole in the mattress and cling to the side of the bed. No more, mattress is flat even when he lays down. That alone was worth buying this mattress!

This is my second Tempurpedic mattress. The first was the old DeluxeBed model, a medium firm mattress that was about a 6.0 on the firmness scale. It took a while to soften up and the unused side was still as hard as a rock after 12 years but it was great for alleviating lower back pain. My arthritis in the hip has worsened with time and age so I selected the Pro Adapt Medium Hybrid with a 4.5 rating as a replacement mattress for more pressure relief. I was told it is their most popular model, especially among women, and the three year old floor model was not overly soft. My new mattress took no time to break in but after three weeks of use, it seems a little mushy. I weigh about 200 pounds and am a side sleeper. I will try it for a couple more months but am concerned that the Medium Hybrid might be too soft for me.

When I first bought this mattress I didn't know what to think as I have never owned or slept on a Tempur-Pedic mattress before. Our previous mattress was over 11 years old and was an excellent mattress (Lady Americana). We loved it but of course at 11 years it wasn't as comfortable as before. My wife and I went to a local retailer and tested out multiple Temper-Pedic mattresses and decided on the Pro Adapt Hybrid (Queen) as I am 6'2 and 225 lbs. We also purchased an adjustable ERGO base. This has the Zero G function that relives a lot fo pressure from my wife's back as she has back pain due to an accident and major surgery. The first 3-4 months was not as comfortable as I thought it would be. The reason seems to be that the mattress was actually correcting my sleeping position and this caused my lower back to hurt for about 2-3 months intermittently. After that period I sleep like the dead on our mattress, LOL. I will say that sleeping on my back is a little tricky and this mattress doesn't quite support my lower back as much as my old mattress, but I fall asleep on my side and that does the trick. If you are looking for a mattress to sleep on your back and you are over 200lbs, I would recommend the Lux Adapt (Firm), if you can afford it. Its pretty pricey. I have only had the mattress for just under a year so this review is based on that time frame. So far, so good. I would like to give it a few more years and see how well it holds up. Overall it seems like a good purchase and if you can afford it, this mattress seems like a solid purchase, but only time will tell.

This is our second Tempurpedic matress and we totally love it. It supports yet cradles your body at the same time. It stays cool and there was none of that new smell even the first night. Super firm for the first week, then naturally learns your body and it's comfort at its best. You get what you pay for. Yes, it's more expensive than other mattresses, but it is the top of the line.

For me, it does help my back pain because I been having back pain for a long time. This products does help me support my back while i'm sleeping on it. I recently had the opportunity to receive a TempurPedic Pro-Adapt (soft) bed, and the timing was PERFECT! I am a very light sleeper, but the husband is not - and he's always fidgety, snoring, talking in his sleep, and waking me up multiple times a night. Add to that insomnia, and it's rare that I get a full night of restorative sleep! My husband also has back issues, and it's not uncommon for him to move to the FLOOR in the middle of the night! Our bed arrived while I was in the middle of my first mural project - I was exhausted but sleeping very poorly. After the first two nights, my husband actually accused ME of snoring! The difference for us is that I don't feel every single movement my husband makes, and therefore wake much less often. And while I still struggle with middle-of-the-night insomnia, the sleep I do get is deeper and with more vivid dreams. I was really re-energized after a few nights with this bed, and completed my mural ahead of schedule! My husband has also not needed to move to the floor at night - this mattress is firm enough for him, but still soft enough for me! One of my favorite things about this mattress is the Smartclimate cooling cover. Hot flashes are a real struggle, especially at night! I still get warm at night, but I don't wake up drenched in sweat like before! Huge win. I would definitely recommend this bed for anyone who is a light sleeper and/or dealing with nighttime hot flashes. We love it!
