This is the 3rd one I've had over many yrs. The last one lasted 10yrs and was still ok, but started to get little too soft. I like a very firm one. My first one was when I had back surgery and it "saved" my life. My back pain was excruciating, but minute I hit that bed, it was gone all night. It takes a few weeks, maybe a month or so to "break it in".. so I liked the firm one which is very firm, but after a couple weeks it settled in to my body. Now it's great. I'd strongly recommend you find a Temper-Pedic factory to try them out. They have a 90 day exchange policy, so you can use it for 90 days, and during that time you can exchange for a different one if you like. Highly recommend.

I suffer from chronic back problems and my old bed definitely exacerbated the problem. I would often have to sleep in the guest bedroom for a better nights rest. But now I sleep much better, and I am considering upgrading my guestroom bed to a Tempurpedic too.

If you like a firm mattress, this one is for you, but try medium firm in a store first to be sure.

I've slept on tempur-pedic mattress for over ten years now. i owned my first mattress for nine years, and my back started hurting. so last year i go over to a mattress store near my home, cause i know the brand i want. i tell the sells rep, I've have some back issues in the past. i need a new mattress !! so she tells me about the really firm mattress that temur-pedic , but there is no display in the store. i bought it base on her word, and my prior temur-pedic mattress. i haven't had a good night sleep since I've had this mattress!! its remains very very hard!! i wake feeing like I've played football all night. SORE all over. :(

Purchased our Pro Adapt Firm to replace a Tempur-Pedic purchased in 2004 ...I had spinal fusion surgery then and bought it on my Doctors recommendation...my wife recently had a similar back surgery and we decided to retire our old mattress and get a new upgrade with an Ease Base...we continue to be happy and comfortable...especially our backs...Count us VERY SATISFIED Customers...

This mattress gives the support with the comfort needed when arms and shoulders hurt from sleeping on your side. It does not completely cure all of the hurting , but it is better than the Serta I comfort mattress we had been sleeping on the last five years. It is soft with a firm under lay that keeps you on a level plain. I didn't think it would be better than what we had, but I was wrong. This mattress has improved my night sleep. The Pro Adapt Soft mattress I have sleeps hot, despite following all of the advice from customer service reps. I am petite, under 120 lbs, and over 70. I am also experiencing tingling and pressure when I lie on this mattress. I want to love my mattress and give great reviews, but I am dealing with a dead end. Comfort level is not covered in warranty according to the company. Alan I need your help.

We love our new Split Cal King mattress! It conforms to your body vs. our old mattress that made us conform to it. We also love the Split Ergo 2.0 base which allows each of us to choose our own configuration. I recommend getting the Tempur Cloud Breeze Dual Cooling pillows to finish off the experience. I want to add cudos for the great customer service we received so far. Quick shipping, professional and friendly installers, great call center help, what else can I say?

We love it! Very comfortable. Great for my back and good nights sleep. The only complaint is we have a terrible time keep the two twin beds together. It's best you purchase the frame and head bound at the time of purchase. We requested a queen size. The salesman told it was. It was really king size bed. Which takes up too much room.
