Normally we LOVE Dole 20 oz pineapple chunks, but in the past couple of months, we've noticed a change in flavor, sweetness and color. After examining the cans from a few months apart, it seems the latest batch was produced in Indonesia rather than the Philippines. The latest batch was paler in color, less sweet and flavorful...and a bit more pithy (like close to the core. I hope that Dole returns to it's previous suppliers soon as that product was exceptional!

I always keep a can of Dole Pineapple Chunks in my pantry because they're so convenient and consistently delicious. The flavor is sweet and tangy, just like fresh pineapple, without the hassle of peeling and cutting. The texture is firm but juicy-not mushy like some other canned fruits. I love using these for quick smoothies, fruit salads, or even tossing them into stir-fries for a little tropical twist. The juice in the can is also great for cocktails or marinades! I usually go for the 100% pineapple juice version rather than the heavy syrup, as it tastes more natural and refreshing. The only downside? I wish the chunks were a little more uniform in size, but that's a small complaint considering the overall quality. If you love pineapple but don't always have time for the fresh stuff, this is a great alternative. Definitely a staple in my kitchen!

I hate cutting fresh pineapple and, for some reason, frozen pineapple never has enough flavor for me. These were perfect tho - lots of sweet and fresh flavor. In fact, it tasted so good that I couldn't stop snacking on it while making my smoothie, haha. I really like that they're packaged in pineapple juice instead of heavy syrup - it def gives a cleaner, fresh taste!

Dole is the only way to go when buying canned pineapple, it's like they can their freshness! I love to use this in recipes like mixing with a box of angel food cake. They are sweet and minimal ingredients. They are all natural fruit, rich in vitamin C, naturally gluten free and BPA free packaging.

You've never had a frozen cold sweet treat in the summertime like some Frozen doll tidbit pineapple pieces I even like to put them in my lemonade instead of using ice or even in my fruit punch instead of ice but my favorite thing is to just put them in my mouth and suck on them till they get soft enough for me to crunch into it's better than chopping on ice and it's yummy too

I really like Dole canned pineapple chunks un 100% pineapple juice. It is good on its own as dessert after being kept in fridge for summer day, or adding these pineapple chunks into red wine with some ice, you'll have an amazing quick drinks especially for summer gatherings wi ty family and friends. Strongly recommend this.

love Dole canned fruits! They are always deliciously sweet and refreshing! They taste so good in homemade baked breads and Pastry but is especially good when chilled and eaten as a guilt free snack! The kids love them but not as much as me! Would definitely buy again!
