this pineapple is as good or better than most of the others. if you keep selling it, i will keep buying it.

Pineapple chunks in pure pineapple juice delivers an excellent pre-dinner treat when mixed with quality cottage cheese. As the refreshing taste of Dole pineapple combines with the healthy cottage cheese, nothing could compare with the satisfying result.

Not true any more. Product is tasteless, color is almost white. Whole product line is this way. TASTLESS!!! Any store brand makes Dole come in at bottom of list. SO SAD. My first pineapple upside down cake was made with your pineapple. Over 55 years ago. How sad when profit is more important than customer satisfaction.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I make quite a few "doctored cake recipes" that begin with a cake mix and add additional ingredients to improve the flavor, texture, etc. of the final cake produced. These canned pineapple chunks are my FAVORITE for my Hummingbird cake. They're nice and sweet and are the perfect size chunks for mixing into the cake without it becoming too dense or liquidy. I like that they're canned in 100% juice as well, rather than syrup or liquid sweetened with additional sugar or fake sweeteners. A secret little tip: Once you enjoy the pineapple fruit, save the 100% juice in a jar in your fridge, or freeze it into ice cubes. Pineapple juice is wonderful in mimosas, or it's fabulous added to carnita meat, etc. It can also be used on apple slices to prevent them from browning! :)

As someone who works in healthcare the last few weeks of the year are especially hectic and anytime I can save time I will. I used these for my ham for an early Christmas dinner and they were delicious! The chunks are great for larger groups since everyone can get a little pineapple. Also, the flavor and sweetness level is always consistent unlike with a fresh pineapple. Absolutely a staple in our pantry during this time of year!

My husband gets reprimanded because he keeps eating all of the cans! I have started to keep a secret stash of them so that the rest of us can enjoy them too. They taste like freshly cut pineapple, which is so nice because I just don’t have good technique when trying to cut pineapples myself. Thank you dole for another delicious and nutritious treat!
