Not so tasty

Not so good. These are flavorless and seedless. My husband got the wrong bag and thought they were grapefruit. These oranges are not good to me. I do not like fruit that are grown genetically modified as such.

Most were a bit on the dry side

We only had two or three that were juicy and sweet; the rest of them were a bit on the dry side. We had to juice most of them because they just weren't enjoyable. The couple that were juicy was absolutely delicious. Maybe they were a bit old.

Exceptional but white coating

Our previous bag purchased at a different Sam’s Club was Excellent. We purchased again at another location and there is some kind of white coating that we have to wash off. The taste is not effected, they are still exceptional in taste.

I used to like these oranges... but my last few times, I received oranges that are bruised and starting to rot in spots %26 others have moldy patches... this was 2 days after delivery!

Rotten oranges

Is there a zero star? I bought this twice and both times I have to have half of the bag rotten oranges. Sam's club, is this how you scan your pickup customers?

Dry and tasteless. Who says bigger is better?

My 8-lb bag has 11 oranges - the most I could find. They are all fresh. However, they are as dry as cotton inside. Not to mention the skin is about 1/4 inch thick, probably weighing as much as the inside. I have no idea why Naval oranges' size has grown so big. Is it because the growers thought this to be a way to save the picking labor (there are fewer to pick)? But these giant oranges are so inferior to the smaller ones. I worry that someday the sweet, juicy smaller ones will disappear from the orchard. I always loved naval oranges. At this rate, I will stop buying them and resort to blood and Mandarin oranges. Even Cara Cara oranges are huge these days, by the way. How sad!
